Amazing work as always! Glad your back! Yippeeeee!
Thank you so much c:
Lovely character! Makes me appreciate the painting even more, very cool to hear your thoughts on all the small details! And I am glad that you are uploading again ;)
Thank you so much! :)
I looove this one!!
Thank you :)
Love it
Thank you! c:
These animals look cute as fuck! Congratulations on your comission and I hope you'll get many more in the future!:3 I remember reading somewhere that sucess is 1% talent, 5% luck an 94% hard work. I agree that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and at the end of the day it just comes down to practice :) I think you're an amazing person with great perspective and I hope you'll continue to grow and be the best version of yourself!ヾ( ˃ᴗ˂ )◞ • *✰
Thank you so so much! ♥️
You have more talent than me tho
❤❤❤❤ your arts are good n clean 🫧❤❤
Thank you! :)
Oh Gott wie niedlich sind diese Tiere bitte 🥺
Danke! c:
I've been thinking about this a lot this past few years. I often feel so untalented that I feel like I'm worthless.
Hearing this makes me so sad. You definitely aren’t worthless! I hope that you will overcome this way of thinking about yourself. And when it comes to talent: it really doesn’t matter because you will improve. Just imagine yourself in 2 years from now! There is no way that you won’t improve a ton. Keep going :)
That's how I feel about my graphic designing skills. I was about to give up yesterday. But I'll keep trying. I don't want to be defeated by defeat. I don't want to be a weakling 😄
Totally agree! I had the same "talent" argument with family / friends too ^^ You just have to invest time in order to notice growth, there aint any shortcut, and that doesent apply just to art but also to many outher skills... Nice video ;)
Thank you so much! :)
One of my favourite characters of you yet! Super excited about what you have in store for us next! :3
thank you! <3
I was thinking of taking Ahmeds course, can you give any insights about it? Also loved how the idea turned out!
thank you very much! :) I am not done with the course yet, but it really really helped me a lot with understanding so many different things more in depth. It also helped me a lot by showing me how to study more efficiently. I also learned a ton about forms and light and how to use the digital medium to communicate different things! I saw a ton of improvement within the first few weeks, so if you want to improve your digital portrait painting skills and you can afford the course then I would really recommend it! I learned a lot even though it is a course directed towards beginner artists.
Oh those all sound like great points, especially just giving structure and making study more efficient. I've been on the edge of buying it, I think I'm going to and give it a run and see how it goes! Can't NOT get anything out of a 4 month course. Thanks! @@dilarameryemart
@@Dugrath that sounds like a plan! Keep me updated on your thoughts c:
This creature looks really dope! I love those merging faces so much I want to try something similar myself ^^ Great video once again and challenging yourself is allways a great way to improve your art! Ah, und wie ich gerade gesehen habe, ab sofort Kommentare auf Deutsch ;)
thank you! Oh I would love to see it c:
@@dilarameryemart I sadly got almost no time to draw right now, but the days will come! :')
Yes! Seems so many people these days want to avoid challenge and look for some magical truth to avoid the hard work. But those victories when you earn them are sooo satisfying 💯
I agree 100%! c: Those victories are so motivating to keep on going!
❤❤
Great video and continuation of your character design! I’ve got two questions for you ^^ Do you want to become a full-time character designer at one point? And how much time do you spend drawing / practicing vs. actually working / making money... I might find myself in a similar spot when I am done with university next year :)
Thank you very much! :) Yes that is my long term goal! I actually don’t know. It really depends on how tired I am after work and how much I have to get done throughout the week and with TH-cam and so on It would be really interesting to track the time though. I’ll try to track it the next couple of weeks and then talk about it in a video or sth! :)
@@dilarameryemart Sure thing! That would be interesting for sure, but no pressure tho xD I actually meant how many days you work? The full week (5 days) or less..? I allways felt way too stressed out after work to get drawing... So I am thinking I might go 3-4 days to work and spend the rest of the week evolving my artistic skills, maybe you have some experience you can share regarding that ;)
@@simonight_art I work 3-4 days a week :) I would recommend that to anyone who can afford that! I totally understand how difficult it is to sit down after work. It can be so exhausting especially considering how much brainpower art requires
I liked how you share your routines and make me think more about simple things like brewing coffee before drawing..etc. I think the names Esther for the god & Stella for the girl- both meaning star, the same but different.
Thank you! c:
cozy vlog!
Damn your voice with the new mic ❤❤❤
<3
Welcome back! Hah I also deleted instagram and youtube off my phone because I was spending too much time scrolling nonsense for zero reason. Already feel better about it! Fun character design, keep up the good work.
Nice! Glad to hear c: thank you!
Really cool video! Loved all the information you gave us and the drawings are amazing! I also struggle a lot with trying to stop getting distracted, usually when I get contract work it helps me get discipline because of the urgency of having a deadline, but now that I am trying to just focus on my own art and teach classes, I have so much freedom on my schedule that discipline gets lost and damn I just wanna kill myself when I notice I am spending 30 min sending tiktoks to my wife about cats instead of drawing XD. I saw you drawing those cool warm ups at the beginning of the video and went like "damn I need that discipline back". Im way more inspired now because of this video, thank you a lot and to your Bf for the editing. Cheers from Perú🙌!
Thanks for sharing this! Ah yes I know that feeling! XD thats also why I deleted instagram from my phone Yeah it is quite difficult to get into a routine or feel like doing sth without a deadline and the pressure from outside. But I am pretty sure that you can do it. I am so glad to read, that you feel inspired! :)
She is BAAAACK! Lets friggin goooo!!!! <3
Lets goooo ♥️
i was just wondering about you! glad you're back!
That is so sweet thank you! c:
Great video, very intersting to hear about your art journey, and a beautiful character design ;)
Thank you! :)

Teşekkür ederim! :)
Your sketchbook is really fun and diverse. Love your portrait sketches and figures. You can definitely see the confidence building as the sketchbook goes, keep up the great work! Excited to see how your next one goes. I'm about finished with my own sketchbook (finally) I'm moving onto some gouache painting and then actually going to do digital for awhile to try something new.
Thank you! Damn I love looking at gouache paintings. But it’s such a difficult medium! Good luck :)
Wow! Whoever drew that car doodle is a real artist 👀 But for real love to see amazing drawings! Great work 😁
yes definitely! :D
Muito legal seu caderno de desenhos ❤
Thanks c:
BRAVOOO! I love your sketches
Thank you! c:
Your drawings inspire me. Keep posting sketchbook tours 👍🏼
Thank you so much! :)
Its cool to see how you evolve! keep it up
Thank you! :)
That's so nostalgic to see Pokémon drawings like these
I think you are going to be a great character artist one day, i like the way you are taking your steps for your goals. I am a fresh graduate from another field and i know that i love drawing and want to be a professional artist one day. Right now i don't have the qualification, i need a long time to progress. So i am taking another path for my career, but i am sure that i will be studying by the time and succeed one day. I wanted to share, because i love how you take things real as much as you can and some way it releases my stress.
I know that feeling! I did the same thing by choosing to study something different. It is okay to try different things first. There is no need to pressure ourselves to reach our goals immediately. You can do it! :) thank you for sharing this
its insane how much i can relate to every struggle that you mentioned in this video! i was hesitant to click on it, but god am i glad i did, it was weirdly healing <3
Oh this is so sweet! Thank you :) <3
Heck yeah! New job! :D Congrats, I hope your co-workers are nice! :>
Thank you! They are :D
I love watching your videos, they inspire me to keep going and keep practicing to be a better artist, thank you for sharing them with us. greetings from México.
Thank you! :)
Thank you for the video. I currently have been going through something very similar to your situation. I got to a point where everything started feeling mountain and also started having seconds to think about my own dream of becoming a character designer, but when you said "It just made me realise even more how much I want to be a character designer, " it felt good hearing those words. Thank you
Thank you! :) I hope you will feel better soon!
It may seem like you lost a big chunk of time (you did of course) but once you adjust to that you'll figure out where you can fit in your times again. I work 40-50 hours a week and luckily with my schedule I'm able to have the evenings free to spend drawing. (usually an hourish but I could spend 3-5 if I was more....consistent lol.) I also read a good bit though. Just gotta fit the times in when you can! Great sketches in this video, keep up the good work.
Thank you! This was actually so motivating to read :)
Perfect videos, i love watching you drawings 😄
Thank you :)
I love your art! No one does these productive cozy art days, but you do it's so inspiring and relaxing to watch them it motivates me to do be productive!
Thank you so much!
It's funny how embarrassed you are about your past work lol. It's normal, and I think everyone feels that way as they grow with their own artwork. Just remember, all these bad pieces have lead you to where you are now. Look forward to seeing some of your other stuff from previous years. Are you still working on your portfolio project or is that all done?
Thank you so much for your kind words! :) yes I am thinking about continuing soon. I just had to take a break from working on it for a while
This was super pleasant, thank you so much!~
Thank you! :)
Doing something "very simple". You're art is friggin' amazing! I love the outfits of this videos sketches. They look comfy yet stylish!
Thank you! ♥️
Love the video, congrats on your job!
Thank you! :)
can we have a vlog LOL
hahah :D I had my first day today but I can try to take you along with me through the next couple of days. But obviously I can't show things from work itself
Congratulations on your new job! I hope it works out well 😁
thank you! :)
