Riyoko Ikeda Artbook - Fantasy

Published in 1980. This book has a similar name to another book called Fantasia (published in 2004). They do share some similar art, but generally speaking, they're quite different. This book was published way before the other one, so it missed new works, and the colors are less vibrant. Nevertheless, it does have a unique vintage quality. このイラスト集は連載終了後2、3年後の発行ではなかったかと記憶しています。 当時のマーガレットの表紙絵や口絵、またベルばらカレンダーや絵物語に使われたイラストも含まれていると思います。 貴重なのは当時のファンクラブの会報が含まれているのと、著名な作家や大学教授の「ベルばら評」が載っている事です。 当時の、連載終了後まだ数年の、ベルばらに対する文章がファン側からと著名人からと両面から残されているという点で貴重な一冊だと思います。私は今でも大切にしています。

Mình mua trên Yahoo auction, khá hiếm, giá lại cao. Trên website mandarake vẫn còn bán với giá $60-65/cuốn + shipping từ Nhật. Tính ra thấp hơn giá mình mua hồi đó. Bạn vào web đó, search Ouke no Monshou hay Crest of the Royal Family.

Although it is a beautiful shōjo manga it was also the longest and most tragical Ikeda Ryoko's story: almost everyone gets crazy or die. One thing I learned is that love and revolution don't mix up well, tragedy is always right ahead...
