New old Onan installed. Needs some fine tuning, but I'm happy with this. After a few mintutes, the idle smoothed out. It's putting out 120V AC, so this is win!
Onan: Out with the old. In with the old.

Mad respect 😂
Nailed it!
Need to isolate the sound from things like alternator. Perhaps try it with fan belt off to see any difference.
Looking for the best resources to purchase well conditioned GMC, please feel free to direct me!
I think you helped me discover my tiny leak under the bed via the side seam on the rear outer panel. It's tiny but annoying to find. Keep the videos coming
One should only make bubbles whilst seated in a hot tub!
Dang! I live just 30 miles away and missed it. are they doing it again this year?
I think 2023 was it. Keep an eye on gmcmi.com for national and regional GMC events, though. They have 2 national ones per year. There's one happening right now in California.
Sounds strong too.
Awesome find! Amazing what you can find in the back of an old airplane hangar!
سوبر لوكس 👌👌👌👌
Nice work!
Find a new upholstery guy. Pos keeps telling you lies. It’s a shame

Beautiful trucks I love 💘 it very very beautiful trucks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job In the early 90s my boss bought a 75 zGMC motorbike I enjoyed the project. I learned a lot about the GMC The first thing I learned the motorhome engine was different than the passenger car, different cam different valves Second thing, do not trust all transmission shops lol Do not leave one screw unturned if you want the coach to be very dependable you have to do all of it front to back we ordered parts from Globe motor Corp. Painted with Imran. Very interesting great memories thank you for sharing. Travis in KY
Not a lot of fun, but satisfying when complete. Happy travels!
Also trims mustaches well!
There's a charcoal filter and various vent hoses involved. Shouldn't have excess vacuum or pressure once the system equalizes. Ah, the joys of 1970's Motorhomes...
Hi y'all! Hi Tim! Sounds good. ❤
Water will find a path to get in! The small holes that were drilled for the rear awning I would seal from the inside it worked well for me. On similar holes like that I used Lexel you can get it at Lowe’s or online. Clean the area up well give it a wipe with isopropyl alcohol and put a dab of caulk on each hole. On my coach I also put a bead of Lexel caulk around the whole rear hatch on the inside between the gap, where you have the paper towels hanging. In the better weather I plan to caulk the gap on the outside rear hatch with RTV sealant. Good luck.
All I can say is WOW!
Tim is so talented its amazing the stuff he has done.. Smokin aces got it going on its always a great show..
Sliver with red and yellow stripes!!!!
Love to have the old doors from your upper cabinets if you're getting rid of them. I'm a member of the GMC groups on FB.
These were marshalled together in preparation for an invasion of Czechoslovakia, but the reconnaissance vehicle that went in ahead was able to accomplish the mission solo. Seriously, this is an art installation and a beauty pageant rolled into one! 😍
🤣😂😅😄😅😆😂🤣
The one with the red and yellow stripes at 2:20 gets my vote. I love these things. Cheers, Stuart 🇦🇺
Any for sale ?
ARMY TRAINING SIR !
I remember when these came out. they were reall cool and modern looking. thus they are still popular. hope you can get parts.
Loved the up armored version in Stripes
I envy you being there. Would love to drive one of these on german roads
I have worked for an airline for the last 30 years , the training videos now seem to be made for a 5th grader.
Old training videos are so different. Nice video!
Great video on a common problem. The solution is to always keep your GMC motorhome INSIDE your house with the air conditioning set to 72 with 40% humidity and this won't happen.
Guess I can't add pictures.
First thought is the cooler is bigger than needed, i would remove the grill to mount it, here's a couple of pictures, the one with the cooler is maybe not recommended mounting bur I haven't fixed it yet, the pictures of the guards are added because there a good idea.
Problem solved: the tiny flywheel magnet came off. I reattached it using JB weld and it's been fine.
Nice!

This is cool. Oh...Your house called. Said you were supposed to be home working on that remodeling project.
Looking to buy one.....jive time is the first pinball I played.
Nice memory. I recall playing this machine back around 1970 with my friends at a local pool.
Wow groovy very groovy
Beautiful shot!
Thanks! Can't wait to go back.
My dad was an F/E on a DC-8 and a number of times I sat in the seat behind him and I had a wonderful time. It was a grand time. I loved the dc-8 55 all 150 feet 6 inches of her.
