Watch our 3 week Road trip from the UK to Denmark in less than 4 minutes. From costal walks to Viking graveyards, historic walking trails to Lego dinners. It was a busy trip and we'd highly recommend Denmark as a holiday destination.

Having travelled from the UK to Denmark in our home on wheels, here is our recommendations of the best things to do in Denmark that isn't Copenhagen.

We had hoped to see the aurora in northern Denmark but this week we settle for seeing it in Germany before heading for The Netherlands were we unwittingly spend a day breaking the law. After risking jail for the second time this trip, we head for Boom in Belgium where we immerse ourself back into the world of Trolls thanks to the amazing work of Thomas Dambo.

This week we find the best beach park up at Lakolk Strand on Romo, West Denmark. We are a little heavier than the cars, so will we sink or make it off ok? It's time to leave Denmark and head south so you'll also see us exploring a woodland and deer park 10 mins outside Hamburg in Germany in preparation for Nala's vet appointment.

Join us this week as we find another fantastic Thomas Dambo Troll in the woodlands of Denmark and enjoy our "date night" with a meal at the home of the brick, Billund Denmark. Legoland resort and restaurant.

In this weeks episode, we wake up in a Viking graveyard, look around the Viking museum and Stuart nearly gets arrested before we head off to "Cold Hawaii".

In this weeks episode, Kath goes for a wild swim in the Baltic sea, we climb inside a burial chamber, find an unexpected Troll, take a trip to the museum and childhood home of Hans Christian Anderson and park up at the largest migrating sand dune in Northern Europe. An emotional week for Kath as she ticks off one of her bucket list destinations.

This week we discover Egeskov Slot, one of Demark's finest attractions. Located on Fyn, just south of Odense, this fairy tale castle exceeded both our expectations. We take a walk around the beautiful gardens with Vandog Nala, get lost in a maze, explore the many amazing exhibitions before finally exploring the castle itself.
