Vandenberg SFB | MTB Trails, the switchbacks
Final part in this series for now, I’ll get better audio for next time. These are the switchbacks, a bit overgrown atm but much better than they were before.

May 4th 2024, racing at the space country classic with my AlieExpress built fully rigid MTB. It was a brutal ride with a blistering pace. Managed 9th overall riding the fastest time I’ve ever rode. Super fun.

Fabulous bike that, mines a 16 reg and love it. Would love to go on track like that but would be afraid of dropping it.good video though.
Thanks, the bike is plenty capable, especially with good tires and it’s a beast.
I'll have you know I tightened all bolts to spec, no more creaking.
Ha nice, that’s good.
Hey, question regarding this. i’m currently looking into purchasing a 2015 enduro with sm wheels. Wanted to know if all I needed to convert it back are the oem knobby wheel set? Thanks!
Not entirely sure, it’s been such a long time and I don’t have that bike anymore. But I had two wheel sets, one fore SM and the OEM one.
Is it an e-bike
No it’s actually an Axum DP
I scoped out this spot today. Have you ever tried diving into the holes in the roof of the smaller building?
It was a one time thing, it’s a great spot for sure but a bit sketchy. I was only in NJ for about 5 months for a bit.
🔥🔥🔥
This guy makes me wanna ride my bike
Thanks dude, get out on the bike and ride!
Imma come by with my dirtbike
That wouldn’t be good since it’s a trail built and designed for mountain bikers, but I’m sure there’s a ton of OHV areas for dirt bikes and quads too.
@@guambra2001 oh you suggested me to come rip my dirt bike at night time instead when no one around?
@Sam_pah nah don’t do that.
@@guambra2001 did you noticed all my track from my bike this weekend? If not then I must be on the wrong trail 😔
No dude I don’t live there but either way that’s not the right thing to do.
I did this too. I now ride my 690 enduro as a sumo more than i ride my gsxr1000. Paired with rade garage rally tower/windshield, sportbike guys are in trouble vs the 690
Sumo life is best life
Thats pretty sweet be fun to ride .
Yeah you should check it out if you’re ever in middle Tennessee, specifically Chickasaw Trace
I’m thinking of getting some bars like that bc my front just feels to short would that help?
Not sure, this Axum fits a bit off for me. I have a short inseam for my height, so the bars helped out a bit.
Bro hats off to you, i stick to the pavement mountain biking scares the hell out of me, cheers bro!
Road biking is pretty awesome too. But you should give the mountains a try, it’s pretty serene.
Great vid, I am looking to do the same. Do you know if you have to change the ABS sensors etc or can you simply use the ones that are already on the enduro?
It’s been a while but I remember just running the stock sensors. You’ll have to adjust some settings in the display but nothing major.
Great short... I need to use my damn drone, but I'm too scared to crash it!!!😂
I know how you feel, I’ve crashed mine before and it cost me almost 1K but I figured it’s better to use it than not.
@guambra2001 😬 That's rough! I crashed my GoPro Drone about 6 times... But I only had to buy propellers... Now I have a DJI Mavik mini that's a lot easier to fly, and I'm too scared to fly it😆.
Great video!!! Keep up the content!
Thank you
Awesome! I love seeing someone work on the same skills that I need to work on.... keep up the content!
Thanks man, it’s never ending
*Promo sm*
That's moist snow, slushy under compression and slippery. I wonder how it would do in cold dry powder with better tires. Lol probably still not a stable idea. Fun vid
Better tires are critical for sure.
Great video, easy to relate to your thought process as you talked out the bike. Well presented
Thanks man. I do miss that bike
I also started dirt jumper when I was 34 years old. But there are very few people playing this in our country. Is there any chance you can make a tutorial? I am confused now how to high jump in bowl pool.
Sure, same basic skills apply, honestly the BMX would be a bit better for the skate park. At least mine since it’s so small.
Nice riding, what bike is that? What is the name of the gimbal that you used to follow you on 360 degrees?
It’s the DJ Cojones from bikesdirect.com, entry level DJ with alright components but enough for me to get started. As for the camera, it’s a Insta 360 X2 with the selfie stick.
bonjour belle endroits je me suis abonné
It's been a while . that turned out to be reliable?
He's actually a good review
I keep seeing people calling it that name. But that's incorrect. So I have to ask you where do you and the others get the name? It's supposed to be Kawasaki Versys-X 300. I look up videos I can't find them because it's under the secret name you guys created lol.
How tall are you I'm 6'3" and want to make sure I don't get something to small
I’m 5’11, it fits me well.
Is the KTM 690 supermoto and enduro basically the same bike except the wheels.
Mostly, the suspension is set up a bit different for the enduro version (longer and different version) but otherwise mostly the same thing.
@@guambra2001 Ok cool
The only thing I hate about it...I have a 2022 ktm690,.. is the Control’s to turn on and off the traction control, as well as the different riding modes is way to hard to deal with. It takes TH-cam videos just to try and learn to operate it, and even then it can get confusing. I don't understand why auto and cycle manufacturers would put out a car or a cycle that is that confusing to operate. It should have been put back to engineers immediately to fix the problems and it would be easy to fix them!
Good point, I don’t have the bike anymore but I do remember it being kind of a pain to switch modes and the intuitiveness of it. But, by far, the 690 was my favorite bike of all the bikes I’ve owned.
Awesome video tho!
Thanks!
"This place is sketchy!" DUDE! You're on GRAND STREET in Trenton, NJ. Folks are murdered there almost weekly. You're lucky you got out of there without getting a pipe to your head, robbed or worse.
Lol would’ve been nice to know, that’s what happens when you’re in a new place and don’t know anything. All is well that ends well.
I see you 1 time in the street XD
Nice
@@guambra2001 nice
I see you!!!
I see you as well.
I see you as well.
Thanks for the vid, I have the same bike and a set of warp 9 elite wheels and can’t get the axel to go through the hub of the rear wheel. Did you have any trouble with that?
No not that I can remember. It was pretty straight forward. Maybe make sure you have everything aligned and give it a love tap
how much torque for the axels
I honestly don’t remember, but best bet is to look at the owners manual.
Great flight and views!👍
Thanks!
Tha is for the video!!! Great riding!! I have a 2016 and was curious about this :)
Thank you, I really miss this bike. It’s amazing but now I’m riding a Ninja 400 and it’s pretty great too.
nice flyover!
Thank you, that place was a blast to fly
promosm 😕
?
I absolutely love my 2020 690R ENDURO KTM, I'm a shorter rider so I put on a short seat concepts seat & helped dramatically, some rally footpegs, ram phone mount, handlebar bag & rear moose fender bag & completed the motorcycle for me, just an amazing motorcycle, nice video everyone ride safe
Thanks! It’s an amazing bike
I was wondering if you could post your exact set up from motox industries. Like what T sprocket? I’m interested in a 42 for highway but would I have to change the chain? Tire size? Tube or tubeless? What tires? Your setup is awesome, I love the orange hub on the back wheels!
I’d love to but that bike is no longer with me, I had an avoidant with it and I don’t have it anymore.
You can lower it
Nice catch on that fish. Maybe you can catch me sometime.
I already have
Look at you hitting the target? Do you always hit all your targets? Maybe we can test that out later. ;)
You’re too much woman
Dang I’d like to give you a try!!
I do love you
So it seems your wife is better then you. Cool.
Not how I see it 😀
Hey that guy with the goggles on is pretty cute HMU
You’re 13 years too late
Nice nice, that's my nest step for the summer. Good video, keep making them.
Thanks man, the track is awesome. You should definitely check it out.
Did you use KeyFrame for any shots?
I for sure did @skydio. It’s amazing! Thank you for making a great product.
Nice work David👍🏼
Sweet shots of the roller coasters.
Thanks love.
