Thanks for another great video. Fly those flags with pride!!
I love farming you tube channels but that flag is a big turn off for me.
Sorry to hear that. We will keep posting videos so I hope you come back after the election. 🗳️ Who ever wins we still go back to work.
Holy smokes, the combine looks awesome with the rear tracks!
@@KNJensen Thanks No mud to try them out this year
@groeupfarms Probably a good thing after all. What a wierd year.
Love the flag Trump 2024
@@RossLindner Thanks I’m ready for a change
Who makes the rear tracks? Thanks
Looks like Camso…but I’m not 100%.

Absolutely love the flags. And the red equipment
Thanks Always red equipment but flags every 4 years 😎
Congratulations on finishing harvest 2024

Why do farmers support a liar, cheater and sexual offender? Strange! They wouldn't buy a used combine from him. They wouldn't sell him corn before they hold the money in their hand. They wouldn't leave their teenage daughter 2 minutes alone with him. But they vote for him. Maybe they hope they get benefit from his lies and cheats.
Another misinformed snowflake! Pack up your crap and take it elsewhere!
@@snowfighter62 I don’t know either candidate I’m voting policy one side has no agenda the other side has a plan for USA 🇺🇸. They both have their issues but the one in power is giving our country away one billion at a time Nice thing about living here is we can all have our opinions sorry that mine doesn’t align with yours

I worked up ground for some farmers here in north central Iowa and it was very lumpy. Some of the dirt clods looked like good size rocks.

Great Video. AMAZING FLAG
Thanks 👍
Watched quite a few harvest videos by different TH-cam farmers so far, seen combines burn up, new ones break down, engines blow up, headers fall off, you name it. Your season appears to be one for the record books for several reasons. Well done to ye'all.
It was a good harvest. We need rain but dry conditions make harvest pretty easy. Thanks
@@gerardcallan5655 Who had the Header Fall Off?
Thanks for the video. I figured you guys were busy with harvest.
Harvest went really fast this year. We finally got some rain so we are going to try to start striptilling and disking today
Glad it went well . I bet your grandsons are growing like Weeds?
It was a fast harvest. The grandkids are growing up fast. The older I get the faster time goes it seems. 😣
Do you have some closer up pics of your bucket design?
Pow flag, without them nobody have what they do
I agree trump 2024
Do you foresee putting a shed over the pit? American 🇺🇸!

Thanks for the update. Bin looks impressive.

Sorry for the kitty loss. Bin yard looks great! Will be nice when it’s all done. Looking forward to harvest.
Thanks Yes it will be nice to be done. Probably the most expensive cat we’ve ever had. 😳
Colt seems to be good help . Im betting hes ready to work everyday with you
Yes he loves helping. He has been my shadow all summer, it’s fun having him around to help
How many bushel bin? Sounds like it's gonna be needed. Usually it's a coon not a kitty in those fans
Nice to see the progress on the bin site. Hope all is well. Always enjoy your take on things. I live in south central Michigan crops look very good here, we’ve been lucky with heat and rain.
@@StarrMan1961 That’s great that your crops look good 👍. Need bu with the prices the way they are.
What do you run for a liquid system on your planter? We’re looking to add tubes behind the packer wheel to our 2150 next year to dribble 32% on. What do you run for gpa and do you put insecticide in? Looks like you don’t do any infurrow. Thanks!
I used the factory fertilizer system that was set up for in furrow. Then put splitters in off the main supply line to run dual lines to each row. I had a machine shop bend and weld my tubes. I put 10 gallons of 32 percent on. I do not run insecticide with it.
That makes sense. Our planter is setup with factory liquid with in furrow right before the closing wheels. Starter fertilizer in our area doesn’t pay every year so we’ve just been using water and insecticide. After this wet spring we need to put some nitrogen on with the planter. Don’t want to use conceal knives or have to run 2 liquid systems. Thinking of putting tubes out the back like yours and put 5-10 gal of 32 with insecticide in. Hoping rain will take the insecticide down to the seed. Are your orifices up in the yellow tee jet fitting? What size do you run?
That round dirt work, rebar work, looked impressive to me. Lets hope you fill that bin to the top with a bumper crop.
This cement crew does great work. This bin pad is not coming apart. I think crop will be ok. Some farms have a lot of drown out spots so that will pull over all yield down
The mud hogs look interesting. "Haugen family farm" has tracks on the rear of their sprayer, they really like them. It's a aftermarket add on, to their J.D. sprayer.
@@bladewiper I’ve never had them on the back before so we’ll see how they work our 9230 has power assist wheels in the back so we’ll be able to compare them
I don't need 2 screens. U can have lines and rate controller on same page. New g5 display makes it bigger. Never seen rear tracks on a combine. U could use the air to blow the feeder house off like ivers. They added an air tank
Thats nice, but I have no annual subscription to pay so that’s nice also 😊
Love the “new to you”combine! Hopefully you will have a great yield even though a lot of rain.
@groeupfarms u don't have to have a g5..I thought 4640s required subscription? maybe u don't have section control
@@agger838 my mistake I pay for section control but we have our own base station so we don’t have that fee
@@wayneinnc5379 thanks I guess we’ll know in about 3 months what’s out there
Glad the damage was minimal. Been too much damage from storms this spring. Planting is done!
Yes lots of damage around this year. Yes we are really glad that we got everything planted (first time anyway
Are you going to have shirts for sale?
Not yet but we are working on it
I liked the drone view of the sprayer. A person sure misses the power when it goes out.
Thanks. Trying to get more drone footage Been bad weather this year all around
Where did you say you got your chem tote stack from for your tender trailer?
Buckeye AG Supply in Ohio
Nice drone view in the last minute.
Thanks. Colby is the pilot for that 👍
When running a hoe ram of any kind, always keep ram 90 degrees from surface. This keeps the pressure even across the bit. Never pry or angle the bit. Never let the ram hammer with no pressure on the bit. These three things will help not fracture the bit at the ram. A hoe ram bit is very easy to break. Sorry, I made this comment before watching to 3:30 . I'll shutup now.
Good to know first time I’ve ever used one
Good to know. I pull a 3pt tile plow with the “planter” tractor and want to go to wider tracks mostly for the tile plow
I really like the case 540 with cvt transmission for both planting and tile.
@@groeupfarms yea I had a 470 with the cvt that I tiled with and loved it. We recently switched to green tractors strictly for gps and technology reasons. Unfortunately Deere doesn’t offer that transmission in the 9rx
@@WNYFarmer I understand I put Deere guidance in all my red tractors 😎
Do you see any issues with the 30” tracks on the planter tractor? I run 24 now but the lease is up after this year and thinking about going to 30
Mine are 36 inches tracks and no I haven’t seen any issues. It works out that the chap between the lugs is right where the row goes so it works great I farm a lot of peat and like the wide tracks for flotation
WATER !!! Too little or too much, hard to get a happy medium.
Yaup. I like to little in the spring just right in the summer and dry in the fall 😎😂
Great work. Something to be proud of. 💪🙏💦
Glad the weather is cooperating somewhat for planting. The rain is good.
Yes rain is good up to a point we are going on a 13 day shut down due to to much rain. Have a long ways to go yet
oil is cheaper than bearings and seals.
Yes it is 👍
