Awesome video! Thanks so much! I'm having a problem where the pointer's value is changing many times though, I'm trying to get the pointer of the player's health and can filter the scan down to 1 pointer candidate, which is always consistent no matter how many times I repeat this process it's always this one address, and consistently seems to have an offset of 40 to my health addresses.... however weirdly I can see when an enemy tries to swing at me the pointer changes value many times in that animation then lands back on my health address when their animations finishes. Do you have any idea what's happening there? Thanks so much mate!

Achievement is called POWerless also: needs you not to use ANY ITEMS. Now that's what I call a misnamed achievement! Can't track if the player used a POW Block?

Wait aren't Bony Beetles impossible to tattle because they are only encountered in the Dark Room?

As someone who has earned the "Death by Disco" trophy in Ratchet and Clank for the PS4, I can see why people hate the "tag every type of enemy in the game" achievements, but I feel like it makes Goombario's Tattle more useful. If RetroAchievements ever makes it to GameCube emulators, I expect a simiar achievement for the Thousand Year Door since Goombella has the same ability. ;) Also, I think a better achievement would be to use the Goommut tree as many people who played this game in the day never even thought about using hitting the Goommut tree so rewarding them for doing so would be more of an achievement. XD

Is the manual transmission required to master the set? I don't just mean that it is mandatory for a particular achievement but that with automatic transmission it is impossible to establish certain times. Also may you need a steering wheel or is the controller fine?

My god, I loved this game as a kid. My friend Craig and I played it many times, I remember us both feeling quite sad when we first completed it, with the ending stills showing your journey 😊

As a 90s Canadian kid, the mention of Video & Arcade Top Ten made me smile.

I've genuinely no idea where to ask this and it's hard to tell what is real or not when browsing the forums. Some have said that there has been news on gamecube achievements coming soon, but literally anyone I have seen mention it has not cited the source. I'd love to know whether this is something coming or not!

I never played a single Kirby game until recently so I made sure to start with this one thanks to RetroAchievements and I really enjoyed it.

No achievements unlock for me and I have no idea why. The emulator recognizes it and loads achievements but nothing is unlocked. :(

Very specific question here, but is this done on the NTSC or PAL version? I ask this since on mission 34, you have a smaller gap to the lead car (about 10-15 seconds less on PAL) and even if i do a perfect run on NTSC, i never manage to catch up to the 2 lead cars.
