Loved Gong AND Cardiacs since about '85. How have I only now learned that Kavus was a Cardiac? ...somebody hasn't been paying attention
It seems he’d been long working with them as a sound engineer, then finally joined Tim Smith on the guitars. Did the whole Garage Concerts with them until his voice was destroyed 😂

actually it is Fabio Golfetti on glissado. ian east on sax. cheb nettles on drums. kavus torabi on guitar. dave sturt on bass. the legitimacy is daevids blessing, but in the spirit of Gong as always being a communal band the legitimacy is in the music, i think. that which gets one closer to the planet. for zero is the hero. nothing is nothing. and we are what we s h i t. see you on the next spinning spiral tele potting! peace!
Talking about "legitimacy": without Kavus Torabi it would not be legitimate to add Cardiacs to Gong - which is just a stroke of genius.
