Girl I watched your videos to prepare myself for DCL and finally I got onboard in June 2024 in the Disney Dream and I am still watching your videos. I would like to meet you one day and you were/are really helpful for me. Thank you so much.

The wrist problem is SO familiar... I had that aaswell during my Tina(turner) the musical contract in Germany. It took me 2 months to recover. And it still doesnt fully function yet 1,5 years later.

I was able to meet you in wish , I'm not sure if you remember meee 😂 I used to watch your vlog before I join the ship and I am happy to see you in here.

I’m in consideration for a guest service job for DCL. Do you knowing about this role? Privileges and cabin info? I’m currently guest relations at Disney World and will be transferring for hopefully 2 contracts before returning back to WDW

Hi. Thank you for sharing this. I definitely believe the experience for an entertainer is a lot better on an oceanic cruise line rather than a river one. I'm from Europe and just got an offer for a river cruise as an Entertainment host, however river boats are really tiny, space is even more crammed than on an oceanic one for staff, and a lot more noise at night due to the ship passing through locks. Even guests cannot sleep. Team is too small to make friends within your department. And at least in my case the company that operates the cruise lines has some of the worst reviews I ever read (for ex, people showing up for breakfast and being gone by lunch...they quit the same day they arrive due to poor management and apparently food being inedible). Long story short, always also check the reviews for Any company that makes you an offer and stick to oceanic cruises.

I remember my first day on NCL and AIDA, it was amazing!

I worked my first cruise contract last year. Met so many amazing people and even fell in love. Everything you said in this video is SO REAL. I have an interview next week with DCL. Nervous about going back to ship life but it REALLY is a crazy experience in the best ways

Hi, Gerri! This is my dream!! I currently work as an Activities Coordinator at a Senior Living Facility in Texas and would love any tips/advice you have when it comes to joining the Entertainment Team and making magic aboard Disney Cruise Line! Our stories are so similar and I've always wanted to along with have been told that I need to work for Disney one day. I don't have a degree, but I have 16 years of theatre experience and 2 years of film experience. I'll be a certified Activities Professional, hopefully, within the next year or two as well! Any advice would be beyond appreciated!

I was actually the very first person in the world to go back onboard after we commissioned it in Germany when we mounted “Believe”. We got to live on board while it was being finished in Bremerhaven.
