You would think that getting into FFB is beneficial for Crocodile given that he has Logia properties but his most damaging special moves are sadly not able to be used during this state. Because of this I am playing Crocodile primarily without activating FFB (I use it mostly for traversing the map faster and this is also why I equip Aerial Expert) The Full-Force Burst Enhancement skill can be swapped with something else but I chose to put it on for when I do activate FFB. I also chose to stack Concentration + Flawless Concentration so I can have Desert Vento available often *Pros:* * C1 is fast, has good damage, builds gauge well. Can be spammed * Fairly good special moves as long as you aren’t in FFB * Ground C4 has good AOE * Logia properties when in FFB *Cons:* * Most damaging attacks are not usable when in FFB * Can’t get rid of armor fast enough

She’s got a great set of special moves and two strong Full-Force Burst modes. While most players run both the standard FFB and Human-Beast Transformation, I prefer using Yamato exclusively as a Power type due to the long recovery time when Yamato reverts to normal form after the transformation runs out *The Basics:* 1. Build gauge with ground C2 (STTT) 2. Use ground C3 (SSTTT) when in close vs. boss characters 3. Ground C4 (SSSTTT) and C5 (SSSSTTT) for crowds 4. Use special moves as you see fit 5. Thunder Bagua in the air does a ton of damage so that will be the weapon of choice when wanting to take out enemies with a lot of health (e.g., Whitebeard) *Pros:* * Very strong special moves (especially Thunder Bagua when done in the air) * Builds gauge moderately well * Good movement speed and mobility *Cons:* * Normal attack strings don’t cover much area (lack of AOE) * Armor damage could be better * Long recovery time if using Human-Beast Transformation

This time, everything just clicked and he has become one of my favorite characters to play He has a sword charging mechanic with two levels that can take a bit of getting used to. At either level you can dash cancel at the end of a string to maintain the charge you have stocked and this is key to using his strongest ground combos. Note, however, that when doing air combos Mihawk’s sword is automatically powered up *NOTE:* Black Blade: Nocturne is a special that does full damage even if you cancel out of it early (i.e., you don’t have to watch the special animate for Mihawk to deal damage). As soon as you see the first frames you can dash cancel out and it will still do the same amount of damage *Pros:* * Air C3 is extremely good. It builds gauge fast, does good damage, can be spammed * Ground C4 with level 1 charge does massive damage (this is the attack I use vs. boss characters) * Ground C3 with level 2 charge is a super strong crowd control tool * Good ground dash *Cons:* * Having to charge up on the ground can slow things down sometimes * No instant armor break. If you happen to piss off a Logia it can be annoying * Non-cinematic special moves are so-so

I’ve read comments on Reddit about how they think Garp isn’t that good because he’s slow and clunky. I beg to differ The reason people say he’s slow is because they are playing Garp without activating Full-Force Burst. With FFB active Garp has Haki all the time and his attack speed increases considerably. This allows the player to consistently fire off strong attacks (especially the special moves) and also enables the player to instantly recharge FFB by firing off C1, manually turn off FFB, and dash to make sure a lot of enemies get caught in the Haki blast. With this there is no reason to not be in FFB *Pros:* * Three very strong special moves in Meteor Fist, Oversized Iron Ball, and Fist of a Hero * Instant armor break with C2, C4, and Oversized Iron Ball. C2 is a bit difficult to aim so just stick with C4 and Oversized Iron Ball * Good ground dash and very good air dash * C1 when in FFB is an amazing tool to get KOs and charge your gauge *Cons:* * Terrible when not in FFB

If you don’t do this her bread and butter strings don’t do as much damage and will not cover as much area To build gauge I do any of the following: *Option 1:* Ground C2 jump cancelled into Air C2 *Option 2:* Ground C3 jump cancelled into Air C2 *Option 3:* Air C1 (causes Smoothie to hit the ground) jump cancelled into Air C2 In regular FFB and in Juicy Giant form there are a lot of attacks to choose from but the best ones for general use are: * Ground C1 * Ground C4 (SSSTTT) * Ground C5 (SSSSTTT) If there is a chance to execute it, Smoothie’s Air C5 (Jump + SSSST) does a ton of damage In Juicy Giant form you can spam Ground C1 into her 4 star special to clear tons of enemies and deal massive damage to bosses When Juicy Giant form is about to run out you can do Ground C4 and aim the final hit of the string into a mob while manually turning Juicy Giant mode off just as Smoothie fires off the wave of water. If you time it right it will instantly recharge the gauge (I do this a couple of times in the video) *NOTE:* In Juicy Giant form all attacks are powered up by default so you won’t need to charge beforehand *Pros:* * Access to two strong FFB modes * Incredible attack range with high damage strings and specials * Charges gauges fast * Has instant armor break with two special moves (Squeeze in normal form and a Stomp special in Juicy Giant) *Cons:* * Long recovery time when Smoothie reverts to normal size from Juicy Giant

Combining his Logia properties when in FFB, C1 crater set up, C2 and/or C5 plus repeated use of Volcano Explosion guarantees that no enemy survives *Pros:* * Logia * Builds gauge very fast with C3 (SSTTT on PlayStation) * Very high DPS * Extremely good 1 star special in Volcano Explosion * High damage 4 star specials * Great Eruption special builds special gauge *Cons:* * Not the most mobile character (but can be mitigated with Burning Resolve) * Can feel clunky to newcomers

Use C6 to build FFB gauge at the start. Against non-giant bosses I like to use SSSSS -> Kundali Dragon Swarm. This works very well with the Power Overwhelming + Airborne Adept skills *Pros:* * Speed type but with Giant perks (increased armor damage, less likely to flinch) * Extremely good at grouping / manipulating enemies for more favorable positions * Normal attack string places enemies in the air which has very good synergy with the Airborne Adept skill * Air dash covers a lot of ground *Cons:* * Ground dash isn’t great * 4 star specials are very inconsistent

High damage, charges gauges fast • Has access to two instant armor breaking attacks: the second hit of C2 (on PlayStation it will be Square, Triangle) and the special move “Risk Death While Still Alive” • Special moves require less to charge allowing the player to access them more efficiently • Kamusari has great damage and really long range *Cons*: • Dash could be better 😂 • Conqueror’s Strike special move is inconsistent

Combine high damage, blistering speed, and the benefits of being a giant and you get Whitebeard Use SSSSS to build gauge and Impossible Feat to hit targets directly in front. All or Nothing is a fantastic 360 AOE option on its own or as a finisher after C3 (SSTTT) The four star special doesn’t have to be Mighty Warrior but I prefer that since it does more armor damage Pros: * Very high damage * Impossible Feat is insanely good * Crazy fast (he can cover so much ground really quickly) * Being a giant means increased armor break on all attacks, less chances of getting flinched, and greater reach on all moves Cons: * Too strong 😂

*SKILL SET* * Cheat Death * Great Pirate’s Ire * Special Move Enhancement * Burning Resolve * Giant Fist * Full-Force Burst Enhancement * Peerless Strength * Hero’s Strength * Rage of Lion * Shatter *SPECIAL MOVE SET* * This is my era! * Dark Water * The Man Who Shakes the World * Big Bang Teach seems fairly weak at first but you’ll quickly learn that he’s one of the strongest characters in the game Teach is one of two characters that don’t need to equip Concentration (or Flawless Concentration) due to how his C4 Black Hole combo works (on PlayStation it’s SSSTTT). If you KO enemies with the final hit it will instantly fill all gauges. This can get a bit tricky if you pick up the attack boosting item or if Hero’s Strength is active because enemies usually die before the final hit and this negatively impacts how quickly you fill gauges My workaround which you will see in the video is to run around and engulf enemies in darkness then manually release FFB and then use C1 (Triangle on PlayStation). This will fill up your gauges right away even with Hero’s Strength active Pros: * Super strong 4 star special moves * Very good ground and air dash * Builds gauges extremely fast * Darkness status effect buffs damage Cons: * Regular combos are terrible * Can get interrupted easily when doing normal strings * Refilling gauges when attack is boosted can be a bit tricky at first

After inputting SST, dash cancel and begin another SST string and loop this * Watch your Stamina and use Ice Block: Thousand Spears or Ice Monument to replenish Stamina. I recommend dash cancelling ASAP to get back into the C3 loop * Use Ice Rain as soon as it’s ready * I equipped the Moon Walk skill to reduce the amount of Stamina used when dash cancelling *(which makes it so that I don’t have to interrupt Ground C3 as often with a Special Move)* * Kuzan’s dash sometimes makes him leave the ground which is quite annoying
