This is a comparison between Ninja Gaiden II Black and Ninja Gaiden Σ2’s Alexei boss battle in Chapter 4
In Ninja Gaiden II Black I am playing on Path of the Mentor difficulty while in Ninja Gaiden Σ2 I am playing on Path of the Master Ninja difficulty. I decided to use the Dragon Sword for both
In previous Ninja Gaiden games the string I use vs. Alexei in Chapter 4 is SST then hold forward on the left stick + T. For whatever reason this doesn’t seem to work in Ninja Gaiden II Black. After the first T in the sequence Alexei dodges away (though he seems to still get hit by the last T). Had to die a few times before settling on TT to hit him
In Ninja Gaiden Σ2 you can see that he gets tagged by all hits without trying to get away making this version of the fight much easier
