Which one is good for VA i3 7th gen or i5 6th gen 8/256gb
@@persciouslopez8137 there would be too little difference in terms of overall performance in general. Please indicate which i3 7th gen and which i5 6th gen the processors you want to be compared with. One notable difference is the igpu as 7th gen has hd620 while the 6th gen has hd520. Again this specifications made too little difference than the other.
Both will do just fine for general VA tasks.

Bought a GM850 from the main seller of segotep in our country and after almost 2 weeks 1 of the capacitor pops and leaks a gray like paste, has rx 6900 xt and r5 5600x so it should have been more than enough to power the system, i guess i got unlucky
Will be returning this even though it still works, i dont want to risk my system
@@lelouchl.7833 That's too bad to hear. You're right, don't risk anymore. We do really need some technical people to overhaul this PSUs for better viewing of its components. Hopefully someone will make a video of it.
In the stress test, the motherboard showed a minimum of 11.641 on the 12 Volt line.
I think it averages at around 11.772v under load. I wouldn't recommend stressing this psu though. Maybe for a slight overclock but that's it.
@@Nowie89 I have a BN750, it also drags everything along, only the fan is noisy and the duty squeaks in standby mode.
LTT labs actually made a video about these psu although the one they made was the full modular one GM750 Segotep GM750 750W Power Supply - LABS Test Report that is the name of the video
Thank you for the information. My system power consumption though is nowhere near the 750 watts advertised. And I'd like to point out that I did consider making plenty of headroom for my system especially when it comes to less known models like this one to be safe.
what capacitor they use in this psu?
That I can't tell 'cause it is still in use now and the time i made this video was when the psu is under warranty.

just saw your video and gave it a thumbs-up. how is the performance now for almost a year? I am quite interested as I saw someone selling this for a very enticing offer. I am considering buying this PSU for my build.
Solid performance bro. Haven't encountered any issues so far. I'd say wait for a sale to get big discount.
There's ssd/nvme/m.2 slot?
I'm not sure since I didn't open its internals for warranty purposes. But you can use a 2.5" sata ssd to be safe. Or if you really want your m.2 drive, you can purchase an adapter for it.
nvme m.2
i ordered R73 WITH 16GB RAM 500GB SSD WAS IT WORTH IT FOR 220 USD
Hi, I presume you got the i7 or at least an i5 variant which also has the fullHD resolution display. On that case, that price should be reasonable. Also pricing might vary depending on the region and product condition. Hope this helps.
@@Nowie89 i5 7th gen only was it worse ?😫
@@jeff033No, that's pretty reasonable for the price given it has 16gb RAM and 500gb SSD. I purchased this variant, an i3 7th gen, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd at around 130 USD.

Hello. Thank you for sharing this. May I ask how is the PSU now? I am looking for a decent entry-mid tier psu and I am considering it as one of my options. It got some positive reviews in amazon as well.
Hi! Currently, it is still working perfectly well.
Pwede po ba ito pang hardcore gaming like LoL pc, with medium settings lang. Thanks.
Pwede bro, hd620 is capable to handle ng medium settings naman according sa ibang user with similar specs. Depende sa tweaks may average siguro to about 45-50fps med @720p res. Pero di ko ito na try personally.
lods san ba pwede mahanap yung chargin control? im using the r73/h
Try mo ito lodz Check BIOS for the eco charge mode: Press and hold the SHIFT, key while clicking the Shutdown option in Windows to perform a full shutdown Enter the BIOS Setup Utility by pressing and holding down F2 at power ON Select Advanced Select System Configuration Look for Battery Charge Mode or eco Charge Mode and select enable Select F10 and select Yes to Save and Exit Meron din sa settings ng windows.
@@kotch1 marami tutorial nyan lodz through windows kana mag set hindi na sa bios if not supported talaga. Make sure din na latest version ang bios ng iyong laptop lodz baka outdated lang ang bios kaya hindi available sa settings. Goodluck!
Kamusta Laptop after 8 months sayo boss?, same unit din from ficopc
Ayos pa rin naman idol. Gamit pa din pang light editing.
Is it good?
It does the job and it did eliminate my pc's random restart issue. So yeah, i can definitely say its good.
Highly unlikely, but have you overclocked with this PSU?, and if so was it a good experience. And cool video.
I have slightly bumped my Ryzen 7 1700x clock a bit up to 3.8GHz and stock settings on everything. I would not recommend pushing this PSU especially when overclocking(I could not risk my build TBH)😀 I still have to consider though that there should be some cuts to compensate for the cheaper price you get out of this PSU. For light OC, I'll give it a try when I have time soon to record my actual game experience.
Hello. Has several months of operation revealed any problems?
Hi there! So far I haven't experienced any issues with exactly 5 months of use as of today 01.08.24. It's still working pretty well until now with average gaming every day of about 7 hours, I'm glad it didn't let me down. The issue with my previous PSU which my PC restarts without any messages or error codes at random times completely gone.
@@Nowie89Glad to hear that. I have the same problems with my PSU. The reason is failed electrolytic capacitors.
Probably due to age and heat. @@3uberMaN

How many RAM slots are there in the R73/J series?
Hi, this particular model has 2 slots for DDR4 SODIMM up to 2400mhz.
@@Nowie89 The difference between the R73/Y series models or the others is it just the processor generation or is there something else?
@@AndreanPrananda I think some R73 models uses DDR3L sodimm other than the cpu variations, so I would advise you to inspect the physical slot first before buying RAM upgrade kit. Or refer to the specific model manual if available on the internet. I cannot tell you the difference as I do not have those models and there were vague reviews about the dynabook r73 series.
@@AndreanPrananda based on upgrade sites for r73/y, it uses sodimm DDR3L 1600. Hope this helps.
