Those old tripples had such an awesome sound n went pretty good too. Had a red 700 a blue 700 then a sx venom n had a buddy with a viper. Then went big n got an rx1 piped n clutched it. Loved reving that old girl watching the flames shoot out behind the seat. So baddass for the times
The suspension system dosent have a lot of travel but on smooth trails it rides like a sports car. Reliable and fast. I just can't bring myself to sell mine.
Ah Yamaha. Some of the greatest motors ever put in sleds. Also still some of the worst suspension on the market. It baffles me how they could never figure it out.
98 Yamaha venture v max 600 twin deluxe edition. Teal color just got this sled and little over 3 thousand miles on it blew a piston,so I bought it put new cylinder in it,pistons and rings s p I pistons,us chrome cylander,and coemetic gaskets,I'll be checking plugs often to see if it's running lean which it might be to fry a piston like that.but I really like the sled and hope it last me a long time.thanks for the great snowmobile Yamaha.
and this is were it all started, atleast its not as extreme as today i mean there only racing. but today sledding is extreme, as trail sledding dies off and mountain sledding seems to be on alot of minds :(

I got a 99 mtn max 700 and on the tunnel it says 141 but looks more like 136 and this video says 136 Can some one explain what I got
They didn't go to the 141 until 2000. You've probably got a 2000 Mountain Max (which would have a build date of 1999).
I own one just blew a piston so I'm fixing it and I'm blessed to say the cylinder is great
my 1998 vmax 600 didnt come with tunnel protectors. kinda cheap
