Time and the Gods is the second book by Irish fantasy writer Lord Dunsany, considered a major influence on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien, H. P. Lovecraft, Ursula K. Le Guin, and others. It is a collection of short stories linked by Dunsany's invented pantheon of deities who dwell in Pegāna. It was preceded by his earlier collection The Gods of Pegāna and followed by some stories in The Sword of Welleran and Other Stories. Dunsany included a brief preface in the original edition and added a new introduction to the 1922 edition.
The book was illustrated by Dunsany's preferred artist Sidney Sime, who provided ten full-page black and white illustrations.

Amazing! I was totally unaware this work existed! Cheers CABH! Love it!
Where did you find this story? I have listened to all your stories and I wonder where you have found them? I know this is from Dunsany. Anyway, all the best from over the Ocean...
I think it's from another author because the chutullu dont have copyright
Mostly the Internet Archive and publication website, takes some research
How fun! 👾
They are my favorite being in the game
Could you record Night land By William Hope Hodgson ?
Odd VOID sigil you are using.
Cool story but not a fan of AI voices. The living voice just makes a story that much more engaging
Good stuff. Many thanks.
I love this choice of tales and I am even beginning to enjoy the voice, kinda alien but when it is good it is very good
Change the play speed! On the new update for TH-cam you can increase/decrease by .05% speed. I play it a bit faster!!
❤❤❤
I don't feel they match well personally.
Great Story! Awful A I reader.....
Legit question: How can someone inside the dream of this entity know what the entity looks like...I mean, wouldn't you have to be outside of time and space itself to see it, since time and space are part of the dream?...think about it
Pronouncing Eons wrong my guy. 😂
CABH .. keep up the great work king 👑
Thanks for your kind support, hope you enjoy my recent videos
Good stuff. Many thanks.
Yeah that one was great
Are you Quinn or are you an imposter?
an AI imposter lol
I'm all for new readings of classic fiction... But with so many quality people having read these stories, and so numerous quality options to listen too, we really don't need an AI take on it... It's just not there yet for something that requires a certain level of nuance and understanding... I'm sure it will get there, just not yet...
This is some seriously weird $h!+ This is. Thank You So Much. The ai is a drag, but the material is Awesome.
Oh the algorithm notices you alright...it notices and fears these beings that you speak about. The algorithm understands everything else, political opinions, all of the various music known and created by humans...it understands all of these things and more. What it does not understand is the cold, unimpressed indifference to all suffering that these Old Ones and all of the other beings have for us and anything humans have ever done or will ever do. The algorithm cannot put forth anything that would interest these superior entities. So yes, the algorithm notices you...and it is in fear.
So Chalmers actually wrote out "ahhhh" like was done in a certain Monty Python movie?
If you've ridden the NYC subway after 10 pm, you'll know that someone might have been successful summoning demons and worse. Kudos to the narrator and author.
This is one of my favorite channels. I have a chronic illness which makes being upright to read difficult some days, and having access to these audiobooks is a great comfort during painful periods. Thanks and hope the channel continues to grow!
Glad i could make things a bit easier, wish you the best
"...misbegotten spawn of a worm" OMG :)
Yog-Sothothery such as this is to be shunned. If the Elder Things could not hold back the children of the Gate, what chance have we? Especially now that Warren is dead.
"A Gnome There Was..." is Kuttner's best short story.
Sup bro?
Hey, what's up?
Man I've been waiting for more from this character
Thanks, I needed this.
Idiots never thought to take a camera.
I hope the AI te reading gets better!
Can someone help me, I’m pretty sure it was on this channel somewhere but there used to be an hours long audiobook about theoretical biology but I can’t remember the name or am I in the wrong place.

Good stuff. Many thanks.
It's made up. made up and more made up.
Id do it for emiru🤑😝😘🤩🥰🤐🫡😶🌫️😊😇
Love how this author killed off lovecraft lol and lovecraft did the same in haunter of the dark... As Robert Blake?!!
Thanks for the good work!!! Much appreciated 👍😊😊😊
Thanks for good stories C&BH, for us Blochheads 😎🇨🇦
Please for the love of god, get a human being to read these
I'll do it!

Where did you get the thumbnail?
I wish these were read by a person instead of AI. AI is still a distance away from being a good voice/reader. Would love to have the guy from Horror Babble read this story.
Can we have an part two sir? This is awesome
