Dawn Patrol at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance | Monterey Car Week 2024 • Cars In The Wild
It all began with the race to be the first in line - the first entrant to be greeted by the Concours Chairman and the first to pull onto the competition field of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. For years, beginning in the early 1970s, that entrant was Don Williams, the concours’ most prolific entrant.
"Dawn Patrol" at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is an exclusive event that takes place before the main show. It allows a select group of early-bird attendees to view the cars on display in a quieter, more intimate setting, often as the sun rises. This special opportunity gives participants a chance to appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of the classic cars with fewer crowds and at the best light of the day. It’s a unique experience for enthusiasts who want to get a closer look at the vehicles and engage more deeply with the event's offerings.

Sweet ride! What kind of wheels are you rolling on? They are rad!
The antithesis of cool is being a childless cat owning slob who hates Elon Musk. I believe this man checks all those boxes.
I found a 97 for 41k its for sale in Scarborough
Ok but...v6, v8, v10, V12..???🤔
We are currently working on these 👌🏼
NSX RL edition
It’s such a shame he never actually got to drive this through pikes peak But Lia did a good job
I was born and brought home in my moms 4Runner as well. Lol
I love this - thanks for sharing !!
Got one in men to donate for art
It is perfect. The color, the best wheels (HRE 305) and it sits just right. 👌🏽
It's perfect. Stance, wheels, offset etc.
I just bought a '96, 2 door, 4x4, manual, dual sunroofs.
This was an absurd victory - with the SICKEST owner - love you bro ... Absolutely incredible W
Shouldn't have won. If they wanted a preservation win, most of the others were in much better shape and better history. He must have donated a bunch of money.
Others were as rare too ?
@@patrickjean-philippe7679 The Aston was rarer for one and all the rest were more original. The Bugatti was completely modified from a race car to a street care.
This Bugatti started as a GP car hence it ran some GP then it was converted as a Sports Car to comply with the new GP rules. Later Leopold of Belgium requested his friend Ettore Bugatti that one of these Sports Cars be made a road car which was duly made by the factory. The car was never restored as such, just dis-assembled, maintained then re-assembled. It is unique, there are not two like it.
I beg to differ... It's about time that a preservation car won. Many of the cars competing, and many of the cars that had won over the years, were of the "concourse finish", what many would describe as "better than when it left the factory"... Which, in my opinion, is a travesty. It's more of an insult to the people who made the car back in the day, as if you're telling them that they did things wrong all along and you're better than them, which isn't true. If not for them, that "concourse" car won't even be there in the first place... The Bugatti carried all the marks of its continuous history from when it was built up until today, and that alone makes it a winner for me... Not to mention that the owner, seen there, won't hesitate to use his cars the way they were intended. Last weekend, he raced one of his cars at the Goodwood Revival, the car in question is the prototype Maserati 4CL Voiturette.
Looks great with those wheels. It’s sad to see trashed modified ACURAS
🌿❤️❤️❤️🌿 Congratulations.
This is a super cool treat. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️💯
So this car should belong to the Congolese now.
Wrong Leopold you're referring to...
Friday down the road
WHAT no pintos ?
Couldn’t risk having an exploding gas tank around all these priceless automobiles.
Attention, sadly soon all gas cars will be illegal in public!!! According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it will soon be forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!
Someone needs to add text IDs on this great video! I can't get half of them at full speed
King Leopold the worst human ever lived
That's the wrong Leopold. He refers to King Leopold III, not Leopold II. Leopold II is the owner of the infamous Congo Free State...
😍😍😍
Nice push start. They triumphant in the end
Amazing. And think of all those cars the cops could get for no front license plate 😉
Poor guy in the Maserati mistral. He makes it all the way to pebble beach only for his car to die in the rally. 5:58
Absolutely ridiculous amount of automotive beauty gathered in one place. I think it's disgusting! Stand-outs for me are always the cars not painted some shade between gray and black, or re-sale red (yawn). 2:36 Loved this green Maserati, and the buttercup yellow Aston Martin? Oh mama!
Indeed this is the sound of music to listen to indeed!!
These cars have to be like elderly people whos kids take them out every six months for an hour or two and they are right back in the house. Cars are meant to be driven and driven hard especially high performance and race cars.
😂👍 Wow, what motoring wet-dreams are truly made of !.............
I think it's time to ban all the Al Capone cars. They've been around far too long and shown far too many times! lol
Thomas Karen Lewis Charles Martin Michelle
Woow :) The paradise of the cars.
Yay !! No idiotic music !! Just the sounds of classic machinery !!!
The Countach LP400 still looks like a spaceship. After basically 50 years. Amazing.
😳🔥🫶
Beautiful,very unique.
What a crowd! They popped for the bloody golf cart! Very nice video, hope to be on that drive next year with my project of 8 years. Cheers
9:20 Red berets in a Bugatti. They deserve an award for panache!
Thank you SO much for posting this! My son is there (his restoration group worked on four of these cars). It means a lot to be able to see this coverage!
You rock - thank you kindly. Bucket list trip!
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Sweden!
As of august nineteenth, the town returns to a ghost town as it should be🤗
🥱 Wow, you must be the life of any party 🎉 !..
@@alancrisp1582 The fact that this town shuts down for the one percent of people that can actually afford those insane cars, yeah, no one gives a shit🤣
Really nicely filmed keep up the good work
Excellent coverage! I have got to get down there next year.
