I truly agree because there's so many shady sites out here with both sides playing games but at least this site. Ask for some integrity from all parties and defiantly many men are not into the lifestyle but curious and see the women as an instant fetish. For a long time, I didn't know that trans people existed in the real world at all. I eventually learned about Thai "ladyboys" from porn, but even then, I assumed that it was all "fake" -- some sort of sick humiliation fetish that was being forced on human-trafficking victims, not a real gender identity. Anyway... just shows how religious indoctrination and internalized transphobia can mess a fellow up.

Maki -- I have a rather unusual question to put before you. It concerns the opening of this year's Paris Olympics. As you may or may not know, there was a LGBTQ parody of Christ's Last Supper, which has enraged many, especially in ecclesiastical realms, which has since been removed from You Tube. French Bishops were incensed by desecration of this Holy event, and I did manage to see a very short clip of this outrage. It looked demonic. Many LGBTQ individuals steer well clear of the Biblical teachings in this area, but would have been very upset with the way this parody was put across, associating the trans community with this event. Have you any reflections or comments on this subject, which was so rapidly swept under the carpet? Thank you!

Southeast Asian cultures have cultural genderfluidity juxtaposed next to colonial machismo. This causes transgenders to lean into their preferred gender expression. (And gender reassignment surgeries are more affordable there) 😂😅😂

haven't watch my video but my guess is since asian man usually are more slim and dont have that many strong features they can easily feel okay and more freely being trans cause they look effortlessly more feminine (I remeber the trend with asian gamer streamers who use to cosplay as female video game character with the help of their girlfriends and how they use to be praised by how cute they looked)and also the heavy closeted gay man market that is willing to pay for these ladies without feeling odd.

I think it's safe to say that mankind hasn't changed that much in the last 10,000 years and that the overall percentage of LGBTQ+ people in the world's population has been about the same in all that time. Much of the difference then in visibility and numbers of the LGBTQ+ from one society to the next is the extent to which they are suppressed or not. I'm happy and grateful to be free and allowed to be my trantastic self and I'm happy for you and all your friends that you are free to be your true selves too. Best wishes to you all. 🥰

This is a VERY interesting question! As one person in the comments already said: South East Asians have in general a very (I added the very lol) accommodating physique in general and with much less effort than an westerner (for example can look like a beautiful woman. Although the real beauty is found on the inside… but you meet the outside first, 😊 so whatever. What really surprised me was how many t girls are in the provinces as well as the cities. They are everywhere! This is freedom 🙏🏼❤️ Of course there is still pushback from certain communities and families but not as bad as ‘many’ other countries. I don’t have THE answer but let me say this: In my experience the majority of t girls I know personally, either gf’s or close friends are Super Women 👊🏼🙏🏼❤️ I believe to make the transition from born male with certain expectations from family and classmates etc. All that these ladies have to deal with, including and very sadly, violence 😢 When they break through to the other side they are now Super Women! 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️

My guess is that, even with opposition, in the end, it has a lot to do with higher general acceptance compared to a lot of other countries. I also wonder if the tourist industry plays a role in trans women getting some level of acceptance? Especially in poor communities, where someone being willing to work as a s3x-worker, can provide for family members? I remember reading an article about a Trans Woman from somewhere in Northern parts of Thailand, she did Cabaret shows, (and s3x-work), down at Phuket, and this made her able, not only to pay for her gender affirming care/procedures, but also providing for her parents, and siblings, at home. While the family wasn’t particularly proud or accepting of her choices, she was still very respected because she was able to provide for then, including sending siblings to school… The article I read was written before OnlyFans, and large Social Media platforms, so s3x-work was probably mostly done from bars! Today it’s probably even easier! A guess on how tourists can influence the culture is also that Trans Women from these countries tend to be more petite and look feminine in the eyes of European and American men, so some men will have preferences benefiting trans women from these countries!? But it’s purely guesswork on my behalf….
