Thank you for this video. My son has the exact same bike and same color. I purchased for him Christmas of 2022. A painful $4k. Although he really wanted a Surron, he didn’t want the trouble that it would attract from authorities even though most his friends have a Surron, he decided to get a super 73 Rx instead. He previously had an Ariel rider. Which he relentlessly got teased by mean kids calling it the “anal rider”. Which traumatized him a little. And I wanted this bike to be something he could feel proud and happy about. His beautiful super 73rx in the red wine color (which was the very last one in stock at the time) was delivered 12-30-2022. He was the happiest I’ve ever seen him. As his mother I was so happy to see him so happy. But then…. It started out with a clicking sound right out the box. Motor turning off and on. And then the motor ultimately stopped working. That’s when the problems began. We’ve had to service it multiple times to put in a new wiring harness ($20), controllers v2 ($160), rear wheel motor assembly ($480) also replaced the bike frame since diagnostics showed it was cracked during summer (7-23) - which I’m guessing would have cost an arm and leg had it not, thank god, been all still under warranty. Last week (Oct -2023) now suddenly the new motor stopped working. Every 3-4 months there seems to be a problem with this E-Bike and there’s a waiting list of a month before they can even get to it at Super 73 in Irvine. I’m scared to death because the warranty will end this year and I don’t know if I should sell the bike as soon as possible after we fix the motor - yet again - because we don’t wanna be stuck with endless motor problems. I also feel bad as I don’t want to potentially pass this problem onto another kid either. However my son has also invested about $1000 of his own money into upgrading the bike... which looks super awesome. He doesn’t want to sell his beloved bike either. It’s been an absolute headache because my son’s only transportation to high school and events is his e-bike. He’s very independent and every time it goes down he gets depressed because his peers go on beach ride outs during the weekends and other social events he can’t participate in and most importantly getting to school and home. I wish I had bought him that Surron instead. He’d have a dependable means of fun and transportation that we don’t have to worry about a faulty, problematic motor.

Hi there- seems you know the wires real well. Any idea if I could wire a TK419 GPS to those HIGO ends somehow to have the gps work ,drawing power from the s73 battery?

Hi there I been riding sg1 since last week and I charge them like twice a day or so. How do u get 80% since sg1 doesn’t show any percentages?? And I ride my bike up to 33km and then my battery light is at 2 lights. Don’t u think that my battery has some problems ??

My V1 motor broke last week. Did you get a response back that your motor was put on order or some type of response back once you submitted your info? Sounds like a 3 month wait average.

Great vid!!! I have 2 ebikes, both are in my living room. I live in NH and as long as it's at least in the 30's and sunny, I'm out there riding. I do try to stay off ice and deep snow. Just the same, I will be very happy when Spring comes!!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Having some issues with my battery/charger. I charged up to 100%, used it for the majority of the day, when I went to go to charge it (the next day), the battery wasn't charging. The port and wires aren't damaged, and the bike battery was at 61%. I had to use it for work and now it's hovering around 22%, do you have any suggestions on what I can do? I've contacted Super73, but with COVID and the holidays, no response.

Super73 is my prefer look of an E bike.But not worth the damn risk of getting a faulty motor and having a 3 thousands dollar paper weight.this is why I went with onyx

Sorry to hear that it's gone bad on ya! I got an S2 white, and ha e had no prob yet🤞but only have less than 100 miles on it. Ordered it 4-20-2020 & got it July? Been lots of fun! If I was to complain about anything it would be the rear brake seems really soft when you pull the lever I think it could have been bled a little better to make it stiffer?
