You know, when brutalism was first introduced, it was definitely polarising. The use of raw materials, etc is why the style is called brutalism and it introduced a whole conversation on it. One of the argument I remember from around that time is the fact that the goal was to modify material as little as possible, to keep things organic and as close to their natural state as possible. Greetings 🌱! First of all, thank you for sharing your opinion. I’m glad you liked the Haussmannian part of her apartment :). I think Sya’s space follows a very specific method and type of styling. Since she likes modularity, at any given time she can move her furniture and transform her space (even as we filmed her home definitely looked different!). I really enjoyed seeing how lively and unique her home is. It made me reflect on how transformational homes can be. From your comment I gather you may enjoy a more traditional layering and maybe a more traditional style ? In any case, thank you for your input ✨!
