He using these fights as sparring to improve himself. That's why he only had striked and didn't attempt a takedown to use it as a sparring lesson for his striking . So when he does get those higher level fights hell be ready in every department hes using these low level fights as practice to get better .

Bo Nickal isn’t having close or contested fights at all with anyone he’s fought. Just because a three round fight went to decision doesn’t mean he didn’t absolutely destroy his opponent and would’ve knocked him out in a 5 round fight. In just a couple more fights he will absolutely be in line for a number one contender spot and that’s just how it is. He’s doing great and he’s been great in every sport he’s competed in.
