Golden Hammer Math on Designs is different. The fastest way to get a Golden Hammer in MY Phases is when the Design Phase number(1 - 4), and the total number of swings including the Prize Bomb add up to 9. Design 1: 5 empty swings, 2 on spare Bombs, 1 on the Prize Bomb = 8 swings total Design 2: 4 empty swings, 2 on spare Bombs, 1 on the Prize Bomb = 7 swings total Design 3: 3 empty swings, 2 on spare Bombs, 1 on the Prize Bomb = 6 swings total Design 4: 2 empty swings, 2 on spare Bombs, 1 on the Prize Bomb = 5 swings total To translate this, Design Phase Number is represented by (D).... (D)1 + 5 + 2 + 1 = 9 (D)2 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 9 (D)3 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 9 (D)4 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 9 This formula only works if hitting any spare Bombs and the Prize Bomb don't render a Phase Impossible to solve. There are instances in my Phases or in the Main Game where the Prize Bomb is found, but the Prize cannot be claimed. Also, if a 2nd Bomb goes off even through a reaction from a separate Bomb the player strikes, it also counts as 2 swings, not 1. This math also applies to the Main Game Phases.

17:27 LPMaster6 never had to avoid a Floating Bomb before Phase 55. I wanted to make sure I could land an a Floating Bomb without falling down, or even accidentally hitting a Floating Bomb but not get knocked down by just missing the explosion. It took me many months of difficult and physically painful practice to learn what can and cannot be done with a Floating Bomb. Also, I learned about its mechanics after the first Golden Hammer (G.H.) Set. In the first G.H. Set, I was unsure about how wide the Bomb's hit radius was. It's why I had a single Dead End Drum then Bomb combination which takes up two Spaces. I knew about floating through a single Dead End Drum, and having a Bomb next to that guaranteed I had enough a platform to land on and launch off of. It's only after my Phase 100 that more than one Floating Bomb will show up. If I had a Floating Bomb in the original G.H. Set, It would have been unfair to put that in as a requirement to beat that Set. My second G.H. Set in Phases 129 - 132 is much more challenging.

This technique will not work on Eggplant Men, since they are programmed to go down a ladder regardless if you are on it or not. This technique is also helpful at synchronizing many Gotcha Wrenches together if you are on a Ladder where there is a Dead End Drum next to where you would down the Ladder. In some cases, It is often the only way to get control of the Gotcha Wrenches in later Phases including Phases past 100.

Phase 63 is a Sailboat. The Mast is the Golden Hammer, the Sails are white ladders, the boat's body is 3-H Walls and white ladders, and the Rudder is the Pedestal.

Phase 58 was a doozy to solve. It was quite a puzzle! I didn't where to go first or what to do, couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong or what was going wrong and why. Perhaps it was foreboding to future designs and the difficulty to what I would later make...

I know how often to put Eggplant Men in a Phase and I always practice how many I can have on screen at once that is manageable. Sometimes, a Phase can become unbeatable if Eggplant Men get stuck in a loop that prevents the completion of it.

As soon as he texted me that he wasn't sure that Phase 56 was solvable, I knew immediately that something was off. I thought, "Something must be missing. Phase 56 is a pretty basic design. Not very hard or intricate to beat. What's going on?" Later, while we were texting back and forth, he figured out the error.

3:11 - 3:17 LPMaster6 beat Phase 53 EXACTLY as it was designed to be beaten. The ONLY WAY to beat it is bring Spike down with you. It took me several trials to be sure he could be knocked down with LPMaster6 with a 100% success rate if Spike was on or near the Bomb. This Phase is a proof-of-concept for a Phase to be played in Phases 69 - 72: the Skills Assessment Set. Phase 53 is part of the practice and TRAINING for later on!

I believe there are Phases later on where you not only have to be knocked down, but also into the correct section. If you mess it up, the Phase becomes unsolvable.

Phases 69 - 72 have one Phase that takes the Spike Escort concept to its maximum. Phase 53 doesn't have any words in it. I just wanted to show empty space so the Phase is as straightforward as possible

Launching off of Golden or White Ladders feels strange. The game wants to keep you on a Ladder or it expects you to fall off of it. Golden Ladders feel a bit stickier to launch off of, from my experience

Phase 129(or I might make it Phase 132 depending on the difficulty of Phases 130 - 131) of the Atelophobia Set II is 2 TIMES harder than my Phase 31. There are at least two Floating Bombs, but also there is a danger of destroying something accidentally or out of sequence which will make the Phase impossible. There are 1-space Gaps and you need to play the Phase very cautiously or you could get stuck. It was a nerve racking Phase with plenty of dangers from the Fireball, but it was the most complex(way more than my Phase 31) and rewarding Solve I have designed and beaten so far. Phase 31 and Phase 129(or Phase 132 if I make it so) are true works of Art in this game.

Phase 23 isn't as difficult as this play through made it out to be. The first objective is get all of the Gotcha Wrenches through the Door on Row 2. It's the only feasible Door to use. This takes several passes to get all of the Gotcha Wrenches into Subspace. Then, you only have to deal with the Eggplant Men. With so many Ladders, the Eggplant Men are by default, problematic. The way to change that is by changing the flow of their traffic by carefully destroying Ladders and watching their behavior. Slow and steady wins Phase 23. VERY FEW of my Phases involve a Just-Go-At-It approach. Most of my Phases involve careful study of the land and enemy behavior. LPMaster6 has learned that trying to rush many of my Phases leads to a quick death.

My great Christmas movie goal is to find a version of The Nutcracker better than the goddamned Barbie adaptation. That has yet to happen.
