Rosalind Franklin, English Biophysicist, took the X-ray diffraction photographs of DNA that showed a helical form of molecule, which was confirmed by Watson & Crick, who subsequently won the Nobel Prize for their DNA research. As we see, the actual work was done by Franklin only, and W&C just took away the major credits of her contributions for DNA model.
