Camping recipe - Delicious Pumpkin and Bacon Quiche is a must!
Have thought about wiring up an arb portable air compressor to one of the switches? Obviously using a relay.
Great idea. I was thinking the same
Sweet little set up you have there. Free is good.
Thanks Joe
Hi, I watched your video and was totally impressed by your amazing videos. can I get your contact to talk about sponsorship?
Thanks for watching mate. You can always contact us on goldyandrobbo@gmail.com
Sounds like a scam?!!!!!
Thanks for a simple to the point video!
You’re welcome mate, hope you enjoyed. Thanks for watching
Blah blah blah, bogged Triton, blah blah blah, solar, blah blah blah battery.............but what did you have on your pizzas?
It’s lovely to hear from you again Damo. Watch the clip again mate, I defiantly said, ham, onions, pineapple and cheese
@@goldyandrobbo6540 What type of ham? Smoked, shredded, off the bone? What type of cheese? Chedder, motz, old english? What type of onions? Red, white? These are all important details! I won't even start the pineapple debate though...
We miss you
Spat my beer out when Robbo went “and Goldy went full retard” 😂😂 Bunch of legends and keep the good stuff coming 🤠
Thanks mate!! Love the rig!!
Legends boys.... Must be tough in NQ with the warm weather 🍻
Ha ha it’s magic up here this time of year Geoff
Good info thanks lads. Love the Ranger setup!!!!
Thanks for watching mate!!👍
The triton took a bullet for the team and is still standing, might have been a different story if it was the ranger. At least you've got the travel buddy for when the ranger gets bogged and your stranded overnight.
Ha ha the Ranger had to pull the little Triton out…..again
😂love you guys, keep it up
Thanks mate for watching
Hey guys, thanks for posting the install video. You mentioned in a previous comment that you used self tapping metal screws to secure the frame. How many did you use and did they go into the tub tray and front wall? Cheers
Hey mate, thanks for watching. I didn’t put any into the front wall. I think I put 6 or 7 into the bottom frame. They went about 20mm through the bottom tub, to make sure there was enough thread but was not near anything under the tub. It’s really secure and isn’t moving. Message if you need anything further or any photos. Cheers
Awesome little video mate, Looked like a cracker spot!! 👍👍🔥
Thanks mate, it was a great weekend
'Hopefully'...Rumor has it Goldy doesn't camp anymore
Oh he is camp all right
Great little vid mate. Not happy about showing off being a far nth Qlder with the singlet on while we're freezing our ass off in NSW. Great setup too robbo... Nothing like a free camp 👍
Thanks Geoff for watching. It’s still beautiful weather up here
The choice of a drink containing pineapple juice was really for Goldy's benefit later on😂
Do YOU want to come camping too? 😉

Ha ha glad you liked it mate

Hope you liked Geoff
What do I do if I can't get up the ladder to the RTT after making my cocktails? Who gunna push my arse up there? And don't forget to pass up the piss pot,,,
Ha ha yep that might be an issue
OMG this is funny!!!!!!

Love it 😂 🍹
Thanks Kevin!!!!!
Hahahaha, this is gold!!!!!! Love it mate
Ha ha thanks mate, I had to run it past Goldy first to see if I took it too far/stupid. Glad you liked it
@@goldyandrobbo6540 love the storytelling Robbo, very entertaining. Not too far at all 👍🍻

Ha ha thanks for watching mate. Yeah that type of talk is from beer

I really wish someone would look at me the way Robbo looks at Goldy 🥰🤠
I always did……but you left me 🥲
Id love to see a video of you mowing that luscious lawn 😍
Very good. Good use of available materials. Next challenge is to make use of all the space to the side, above and behind the fridge. When the fridge is stored its difficult to get to some of those spots or make use of the space.
Yes mate that’s the next challenge. Check out Robbo’s setup we just did. He set up a 12v work station behind his fridge slide. Thanks for watching
You made that look easy. Nice job and congrats on making 1k
Thanks 👍
Very informative. You should make a video on wiring up some side lights to the roof rack
Thank you Nathan for your positive feedback. Yes side lights are definitely on the list
Love this, great explanation and install mate! And you’ve hit 1000 subs!🎉🎉🎉🎉 love your work
@@MudModsBeers thanks for watching. Yeah we never thought we would make a K
I second this
Thanks mate
Have the same oven, thats our favourite food to do in it,I run mine of 2nd battery, 120ah itechworld,1 and a half hours from cold and use 200watt solar panel to charge battery so yummy 😋
Perfect mate! How long do you reckon for meat pies?
@goldyandrobbo6540 I set it at about 100 degrees and have them about 90 minutes later, dont want them to hot, just hot enough to eat and not burn your mouth 😜
@@mickemery4486 nice!!! Thank you
Subbed! I have the kickass travel oven a few months now. I fitted a 12-14V step up and first cook was lamb shanks. I found the aftermarket deep tray better as it holds in liquids better when on the road. Getting the temps and times right is a learning curve when driving. Remembering to stop and check is key.
Thanks mate for subscribing. Lamb shanks would be awesome, how long for that cook? A deeper tray is a good idea, is that a kickass product?
@@goldyandrobbo6540 Yes mate, The kick ass oven with the glass window. I cooked them for about 3 hours. A lot of liquid came out of them and spilt / Leaked from the oven just driving to work from Tweed to Brisbane. Hence I went to tent world and bought the deep tray. The fellas on the jobsite were impressed I was eating roast lamb shanks for lunch,,,
Awesome
One thing I would do ALWAYS negative to chassis not straight to battery.
Yeah I have actually heard that. What’s the reasoning for this?
Nice mate! Looks amazing!!! 😍👏🏻
Thanks Justo
Its great to see you two releasing content again. I thought that your relationship had broken down and you had separated. This made me feel sad as its 2024 and you guys should not be ashamed of what you have. 🏳️🌈

Love this one fellas! ‘I thought I was your travel buddy’ 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed
Good to see you back boys 👍👍
Thanks Geoff. It’s been too bloody wet and hot
@@goldyandrobbo6540 yeah mate it has. Look forward to a few more 👍
Cool video 😊
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed
Brillant setup. Nice and neat. How is the setup working? Is the Ranger XLS any good?
Thanks mate, yeah I’m really happy with the setup. I need to play around with the appliances and see what I can can’t do. The XLS is pretty good, I got the tech pack installed, so it’s quite comfy. I’ve only had the truck for a couple of weeks. Thanks for watching
Whats you aricon watt usage per hour ?
Ummmmm….good question? Sorry I’m not sure. It’s the new dometic aircons though
Well wattage per hour can cause so much consumption...if you could make another video by swapping generator next day to different caravan ...
@@user-gi2zv3bg8f yeah I think that’s a good idea. But we wanted to test the generators and what they can do? We used the exact same van but hooked up a different generator to what would last the longest.
1 problem with the connect it system is that the connectors do crack. I have had to brace all of the corner connectors. I'll show you some photos later.
Thanks mate, would like to know more
@@goldyandrobbo6540 Sorry TH-cam wont let me send you photos
Very informative video thanks for sharing. I’m struggling to get that plug any ideas where you got it from as it has to be a plug without a thread? Cheers
Hey mate, yeah I had the same issue as Jayco here didn’t sell the plug either, I ended up going to my local plumbing and irrigation store and bought one that fit the hole, it was a threaded plug, I just used thread tape and it works perfectly. Failing that you might find something online? Plug obviously needs to be slightly bigger than the hole or cut one to suit…hope this helps🍻
Hey mate looks great - I’m a bit of a muppet on the tools so can I just ask how you secured the ally frame to the tub wasn’t sure if it was pot riveted when I tried to zoom in cheers
Hey mate, thanks for watching. I used self tapping screws for metal
That's a kickass setup mate!
Thanks dude
What a cracking set up!!! That’s amazing! Well done 😀👍🏻
Thanks Justo, love the new truck
Do you think getting a generator or another battery is a better idea?
Good question, I think the 100ah is a little small as I have found the BMS does use power at least 2 amps just sitting there with a couple of fans. It runs for three nights easy without relying solar. Although we have a small generator we use during warmer months……we also do a clip on this but it’s a kings verse Honda clip. Thanks for watching
I have the 2023 model. I did a pizza in the griller (caravan park) you just have to remember to turn around 😂. But, you’re right cooking on fire is better. Great video.
Hey Tristan, thanks for watching. Glad you liked and yes fire is the best kitchen
Not impressed with the kings, too easy to overfill and goes straight over the power side. 6mths in and mines surging like a bitch.
Oh bugger mate that’s no good to hear
How can you do a test, but not know the fuel capacity?
Thanks for watching. I don’t think it was ever about fuel capacity, it was full tank of fuel in each generator and see what lasts the longest……..and drinking beer 🍺
