Each day is a new challenge. Every challenge we overcome; we grow as a person. Sometimes we fail, sometimes we succeed, regardless of the outcome; there is growth present. Be the best you can be at whatever you do, tackle each day as if you’re being scored on it.
What’s the reasoning behind the constant need to create content and share ideas or knowledge on media platforms? We’re in it for the game, it’s fun and it can bring positivity to someone’s day, hopefully. After all, none of this is real, as we’re uploading videos and texts into an invisible cloud.
Thanks for stopping by, I wish the best for you.
Cheers,

BEAST 1971 Datsun 240z RB25NEO | Cars & Coffee Los Angeles
Car is owned by Dottore @ builtnissans on instagram.
The 1971 Datsun 240Z, also known as the Nissan Fairlady Z in its domestic Japanese market, is a groundbreaking sports car that redefined the concept of affordable performance vehicles. It was introduced by Nissan in 1969 but gained widespread recognition in the U.S. market during the early 1970s, particularly for its exceptional balance of style, performance, and price.
The car’s design was led by Yoshihiko Matsuo, who sought to create a sleek, timeless sports coupe that could rival European models. The 240Z’s exterior features a long, sweeping hood and a low, fastback roofline, which provided an aerodynamic silhouette reminiscent of the Jaguar E-Type and Porsche 911. However, it retained its own identity with subtle Japanese design cues, such as the horizontal rear taillights and frameless side windows. The clean, purposeful look of the car appealed to a broad audience, from young enthusiasts to established sports car aficionados.
Mechanically, the 240Z is powered by Nissan’s L24 engine, a 2.4-liter inline-six that delivers 151 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, although a 3-speed automatic option was also available. The twin SU carburetors provide smooth throttle response, making the car highly engaging to drive. Its top speed was around 125 mph, and it could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 8 seconds-strong performance for its class at the time.
One of the 240Z’s standout features is its fully independent suspension system, which uses MacPherson struts up front and Chapman struts in the rear. Combined with front disc brakes and rear drums, the setup offered excellent handling and ride quality for a car of its price range. Its lightweight design, tipping the scales at just over 2,300 pounds, further enhanced its agility on both city streets and winding mountain roads.
The interior of the 240Z was designed with practicality and comfort in mind, making it more livable than many of its European competitors. It features supportive bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a straightforward dashboard with a full set of analog gauges, including a tachometer, speedometer, and additional dials for fuel, oil pressure, and water temperature. A rear hatchback with a spacious cargo area added a level of versatility uncommon in traditional sports cars.
The 240Z was a monumental success for Nissan, especially in the U.S. market. It sold in large numbers, proving that a reliable, well-built sports car didn’t have to come with an exorbitant price tag. Its combination of affordability, attractive styling, and competitive performance earned it a devoted following and cemented its legacy as one of the most important Japanese cars ever made.
Today, the 1971 Datsun 240Z is a highly sought-after classic. Its timeless design and connection to the rise of Japanese automakers in the global market make it a favorite among collectors and enthusiasts. Many examples are still on the road, lovingly maintained or restored, as a testament to the car’s enduring appeal.

Not a 1956
What year is it? I made an educated guess on what year it would be lol 😂
nah i don’t think so 😂
Right?! Seems like a feasible wishlist request
The fitment is good, HOWEVER, it looks uncanny af with those rims and fitment on an otherwise regular accord lmfao, looks like an RC car.
Haha I think it’s a build in progress
that’s clean
I agree. The fitment is just right, and the color combo is fire. Red and chrome go hard together
i don’t get ppl who make fun of people for not using their car for how it was “made” makes no sense
Knew about them for a while. But that iconic scene of stealing gas kinda solidified it
Yeah I heard about it from RTJ4
Iconic album

Thanks for the link! Too bad kei cars are not common in the US
Loved how everyone in the parking lot froze, the ride still turning heads.

Just a preview of what’s to come 😁
Mazda-R2
Isn’t R2 the engine type?
The lock on the door which is normally on a fender unless I'm wrong about its purpose on the az1. But they used to do that for alarm systems. I like that little car it's cool. But the funky windows for more for appearance than function.
It’s such a cool car but not very practical for USA roads. The windows aren’t fully functional like you said, I think you can only push a portion of it outwards. Not to mention the sheer minimal size of this vehicle won’t stand a chance against newer American vehicles. Nonetheless, the Mazda AZ-1 is one of a kind!
@CarsWithClassy I'm going to send this clip to a a Mazda rotary car enthusiast. And that's putting it lightly. He'll be able to let you know something about it most likely. I think it's a real interesting car
Looking forward to learning more about it👍

It’s not too late to move to the other side! Hahaha
@CarsWithClassy Ça va devenir le grand sujet de conversation au sein de la famille,🤔
Did you keep the stock suspension? I installed this bumper and now I have a squeak, I’m going to have to lift it with old man emu heavy duty shocks.
Yes, I did keep the stock air suspension. I talk about it at 6:47 in the video. My plan is to also go with OME heavy duty shocks + a complete suspension rebuild (rally)
@@CarsWithClassyI know I saw that shortly after posting my comment 😂.. bro I give it a 5/5 it’s nice provides heavy protection I’ll probably just spray the bolts with something to prevent rust .. if you do switch to another bumper remember it might look like crap since they cut the top of your OEM bumper really badly. Yeah my only complaint is what you said that sound I also can’t find it, Let me know if you do.
@alexanderb4795 if I get a new bumper I’d be redoing the entire front end before going aftermarket. My other option is to have someone clean up those cuts in that area and make it look good with patch. It is 100% durable I agree! The 3/5 was a bit too harsh but that’s my honest rating. Your rig looks sick by the way! I love the fitment. Are you planning on adding the amber lights to the light bar rack?
@@CarsWithClassy thanks I got inspired by your bumper think it looks great … Me and my wife installed it she read the instructions while I did all the grunt work. I’m pretty happy with how it looks. Just needs 18s and the 2.5 leveling …Regarding the lights I might but I have no clue how to wire them never really messed with lights. I’ll look into it though it would look a lot better.
@alexanderb4795 that’s awesome bro!! Team work makes the dream work… looking forward to seeing your build progression
I think pulling it from behind would be less stress on your vehicle
Yes, you’re so right. There was no hook or hitch in the rear to recover him from the rear. Lessons learned
What happened to the parking sensors bar?
A buddy of mine wrapped his recovery strap around the bumper so that I can recover him out of a rut; I didn't realize that this dumb friend of mine wrapped his strap around the parking sensor bar instead of going under it. so when I started to recover, the parking sensor bar took some damage. if I had tow hooks, that would have been more useful. but I think my buddy shouldn't have gone in sand without a 4x4 vehicle. here's the video. th-cam.com/video/ziSHk1moevU/w-d-xo.html
@CarsWithClassy That's unfortunate. Thanks for the response
