    Thank you for sharing. I’ve been considering new ways to apply water to glass in hopes of decreasing the number of times of bending over per day to clean the wash bar in a bucket. The backpack sprayer on a cart is something I’ll try.

    Can you buy the washer in UK? Cant find that model anywhere

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about UK. On willies site wagtail.com.au you can find the pivoting applicator. I’ve got a 16” and a 10 inch”. That pretty much covers all I need for a washer. Plus you can make them pure waterfed, or a water and detergent based washer so you no longer need a bucket, just a pump sprayer. Works exceptionally well on schools, and very dirty glass where you need a good scrub.

    Yeah I’ve been getting into the power pivot too, also it’s better on the wrist as you can keep your wrist more in a neutral position saving injury

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No doubt it’s a great tool. The pivoting applicator is a great washing tool as well as it enables you to get a really good scrub on the glass. For those that like having both hands working with tools, you can really fly thru your work with the pivoting applicator and squeegee used in tandem. It’s also good as you can mod the pivoting applicator to be a waterfed tool which it ver useful on hot days, and especially when doing pool balustrade

    Hi mate, what type And size squeegee are you using.. cheers David

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      G’day mate, I mostly use a 16” for commercial pole work, and a 18” high flyer for in the hand. However for houses, I think a 16” is an ideal size. If you aren’t familiar with Wagtail’s, the high flyer is a fantastic tool, as well the new power pivot squeegees and applicator which I have done a few mods to in later videos which may interest you if you like the idea of having your tools water fed.

    • @FlashTechEngineering
      @FlashTechEngineering 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers bro, I'm a wagtail user, I have the 14 and 18 inch high flyer, .. I mainly use the 18 and 24 inch orbital.. I may have to invest in the 16 inch high flyer.. what rubber are you using.. I'm using Sorbo.. but prefer the original wagtail rubber.. I'll check out your modifications.. the high flyer pads are an issue..

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      New wagtail blue rubber is pretty good, but for me ettore and black diamond work best in a HF. and I like ettore in the power pivot. Gonna do a new vid on an easier way to make the handles with a spray option soon

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Helped me out when I snapped the handle a few months back. If you jam the blade in there enuf, it actually can be used as a washer and scaler on a pole which is quite handy.

  • @ianbaker5134
    @ianbaker5134 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well done Travis. I have been sitting with these for months trying to figure out how to fix it in-line. The only thing is that there is too much water coming too quickly, because it is click on and click off. But nevertheless a very good way of doing it.

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      G’day Ian, I’ve found using it now for a couple of weeks, you can regulate the flow reasonably well. If you don’t click it the full way down, in other words leave one notch left, it puts out a trickle stream which still is enuf to get the glass wet, without the wide arc spray

    • @ianbaker5134
      @ianbaker5134 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I filed the notches down so it slid easily, But I was trying to work it in reverse; permanently 'on' , then release it. But I didn't really attend too much to it, busy in other areas.

    Nice detailed video Travis. Cheers. I see you switched to my size bottle than the big one I saw. I imagined you still use it when you have a bunch of windows. So is that the one your sending me?😃I'm curious,why not put the trigger underneath.

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tried it with the trigger underneath but it didn’t feel as good. Also the tubing would knock against the glass. I still use the 8 litre pump sprayer, but for smaller jobs under $50, I’ll use the 1.5 litre. Just did s trolley update vid as well

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s the one I’m sending you. I know you have a univalve, but I hope this mod may be of benefit as it kind of eliminates the need for it, when using it in the hand. Plus those univalves are very expensive imo.

      I’ll do another vid showing how I make the pivoting applicator water fed, it is a seriously good applicator. Twice the scrubbing area of a standard t bar washer. Plus you could have dedicated pads to use it as a waterfed scrubber for certain glass as well. Can’t speak high enough about the pivoting applicator.

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Ian. The different systems we professionals implement are designed to be better and more efficient than the standard way of cleaning. Your system is great for houses and indoor offices. But wen you have 3-4 worth of commercial work on a hot day, a system like this works really well. I’ve just made up a smaller system to for easier portability on smaller jobs and which I really like. I’ll do a vid on that soon.

    Gday Byron, I’m wrapped with the pp. I got the 12,14,16,18” and they all are useful in their own way. The pivoting applicator is such a good washer as well. I no longer carry a tbar washer this is just vastly superior, especially when u add steel wool strips to it. Glad if there is some value for you in these vids because truth be told, it’s only because I appreciate the stuff you and Marcus put out and polzn bladz, that I try to give something back. Btw, hows development coming on new boab.

      Gonna try filming the pump sprayer delivering water up 2 storeys this week. The highest I’ve gone is 3.5 storeys high and the pump sprayer delivered more than enough water to the glass. It’s a great way to window clean at height

  • @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist
    @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not bad. But the 12lt on the trolley is my go to for very high commercial work, or if I have lots of pole work, it is far superior to the little 1.5 lt pump sprayer

  • @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist
    @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is fantastic. The nicest setup I've seen and very neat. I imagine you have other Highflyers for the pole as the cord is going straight through the handle. Guess it's only for the hand. I'll try this with one of mine.

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wen I saw your setup the other day wen u were doing a firestone, I thought a coiled tubing would be the go for you rather than have metered of tubing to get tangled up on. It’s a very rough prototype, but I put it out because I’m sure you and others will be able to improve it.

    • @travissfwc5736

      @@travissfwc5736 Ok thanks. Have you found that sometimes your tank is losing pressure. It only happens to 2 or 3 gallon sprayer it seems unless it's defective.

    • @travissfwc5736
      @travissfwc5736 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      As the water level goes down, you need to pump more, but out of all the sprayers I’ve had, this is the best one. I think it pays to invest a little more $ in a good sprayer, especially with Vuitton seals. The seals will need replacing eventually but the Vuitton seals give you greater longevity. With the trolley sprayer, as I showed in the other vid, you can attach a painters bucket, and then put in all sizes of squeegee and spare scraper blades... it really becomes a mobile work station.

  • @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist
    @MarcusWindowCleaningWagologist 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was thinking the same thing with a few sizes. I made two so far that I used the most with the pole extended. Your good with that way. 👍🏾
