Man I like both. Why choose! Okay I do like LPs better but strats and teles are killer too.

Single coil vs. humbucker, 24&3/4 vs. 25&1/2, it's really a matter of preference, l like both, PRS ain't bad either, though some may suggest otherwise.

I love strats. My first guitar was a strat. My current guitar is a Les paul Standard 60's While the strat sounds good, the Les Paul *IS* that rock sound. It just is.

There are only pickups witch make a difference in sound. Level of output plus frequency response - on humbuckers, mid boost and low high shelf. Everything else is what you hear with your eyes.

Never buy fender unless you do massive upgrades if you into hard rock/metal. Les Paul is a safe choice for all type of genres.

Gibsons/Epiphone on neck pickup: 0:10 0:24 1:30 They all sound so similar it's hard to pinpoint differences. Yes, if you look for it, you'll find it, but without the others side by side to compare, can you really tell what one "lacks" in comparison?

Apples and oranges Stratocaster's sound good, so do the right Les Paul guitar. The amplifier has a lot to do with the sound. It's all in the heart and fingers...Gotta play that guitar like your going through your second divorce and your dog likes her man better than you.

Excellent video! It's really obvious from this comparison how much better the color looks on the fake Gibson! Such a shame that the Epiphone color ended up so silver! Both sound great, but that copy really looks nice.
