@@scalerockrc the factory unit. My sone has both the blazer and the power wagon looking flatbed, and it went out on both with low hours. Granted, he likes to wheelie backwards on the front end a lot, so it may have contributed to premature wear…but I would suspect that such maneuvers are fairly common.

@omri4921 so, the stock pinion is plastic, and it's just pressed on if I remember correctly. But I used a pair of side cutters under the pinion and wedged them between the pinion and motor and squeezed. Used them like a wedge. Stripped grub screws I either use a torx bit that's close to the size and tap it into the grub or if that doesn't work, I'll cut a slot to use a small flat head if there's enough space. Quality tools help a lot to prevent them from rounding out as well.

@Danielxperez14 it is plug and play, you'll have to set your throttle end point in the remote. If you want to tune things like punch, drag brake, BEC, etc you'll need the program card. They're pretty cheap though, I think $15 USD or so.

@Danielxperez14 quite a bit, mines got Treal axle housings, brass portal housings, D Links high clearance links, Treal wheels on 1.9x4.75 ProLine Hyrax with Flub RC inserts, full Scaler Fab bumper and slider set, Fusion Pro, metal Redcat gears in the transmission and transfer case, and so on. I'll have to post updated videos on my builds because they're always changing lol.

@John_Tate20 I agree. It's like the okay-est crawler. But with some work, it's actually pretty good. At least mine has been.

With 1/10 scale, I'd suggest getting a kit, or an RTR and upgrading how you want. I like kits because I usually end up dropping the stock electronics anyways. If you're wanting to go the comp route, Redcat dropped the Ascent Fusion, absolutely the best deal for RTR comp style rigs right now at $399. HW Fusion, brass, carbon chassis, etc out the box.

MEUS makes some good stuff! I like the isokinetic axles from them.

I'd say that the individual straight links would make for better articulation compared to the single Y upper link.

I was trying out different editing software. The volume can get weird sometimes between different software and devices.

The motor is decent, lacks torque for my liking. It's pretty basic as far as that, but you could easily go with a Hobbywing 1080 and any decent brushed motor from Hobbywing, Holmes, Yeah Racing, etc. The stock ESC feels like a Hobbywing 1040 or 1060. The motor itself has held up will so far, just could use more torque. In high gear it's plenty fast, I'd say faster than a brisk walk. I've got a few videos on it you can check out. It's basically a Redcat Gen 7 or Axial SCX10.1 with a 2 speed. Axial parts bolt up to it so far that I've tried.

Personally, I think the tire looks cool, but adds weight. I didn't put the tire on this one because it was heavy as it was, totally would've rolled more lol

I'm currently waiting on some axles for this one, not because they failed yet, just part of a budget build I'm doing. But really, it has impressed me for the most part!

I don't recall what the washers were for, but I don't beleive they were used for the shocks.

@@scalerockrc but they were in the shocks bag for the o-rings

@unloveableandre yeah, I know they were in there. I don't think I used them for anything to be honest, they're spare parts, possibly shims.

Body is from Flub RC. It's their C Series body. I highly recommend
