I've seen a few of these 2500 with that same exact issue. Always the ground lug.

I have the chinese clone of this 8000Watts version what could have happened I tested the resistor on the mosfets power supply and output side they read correctly but it keeps on blinking protect and power keeps on cycling the output transistor there also shows a high resistance but not shorted what could be the problem ? The speaker output also show -4vdc im confused 🥲 and also the Driver IC is colored white was it burned or its normal I dont know how to deal with this thanks 🙏 mate

best channel i have the same amplifier parts but a clone one and I got protection mode and I probe one of the output transistor there is a shorted ones

Another good tip to identify a failing drive is to check the DC offset voltage at the output terminals with no load/gain. With a bad drive, the DC offset will creep up slowly (or quickly with gain) until the protection threshold is reached.

I have had only one of those in for repair and I tell you what, it was not meant to be serviced just by the way they put it together. The one I had in also had shorted transistors but I can't remember why we had to turn it away.

Hi, Did you fix this? The more common fail on these seems to be the formatter board which is a small fuse marked `p` which can be bridged to bring back the screen functions etc

Mine still hangs on the wall :) The only dual-board amp I keep on display. If the two output cards get out of sync (frequency) bad things happen.
