What you guys are doing is discounting the Rey factor. And it negative impact of Star Wars fans. The fact is that fans will never be made to like Rey. Ridley Scott and James Cameron would not be able to grift fans into being okay with the sequel trilogy narrative. As long as the Skywalker and Solo bloodline is dead, so is cinematic Star Wars.

I remember when i first watched the whole season before they fully released it shame they didnt keep this i honestly think it would have been a better end to cad bane over the book of boba fett but i think liked what they did in the bad batch but now thats gone too maybe tales of the empire will clutch up

See, this would be cool if Bane had won the duel. Then, in the BOBF scene where Bane says essentially that he won against boba once and he will win again, we would know when he won the first time

The only thing i can say in favor of this show, is its better than the acolyte.

Simon Kinberg is a pretty good writer and producer. Mostly successful, though a couple misses wildly, especially with Dark Phoenix tanking and if he has to work inside the shoddy Disney box, which Kathleen Kennedy controls, then I doubt he succeeds.

Nobody could save SW at this point unless Disney sells SW

Nah I'll pass. They either should bring Lucas back or go with a younger more realistic screen writer who can really push the old theme forward while adding something new without the Rey's of the world. And stop using the same old actors, new faces are desperately needed. Kinberg is nothing special and to me his writing is nothing to write home about.

I wish lightsabers would actually CUT things… WOULDNT THAT BE NEAT???? Like, yes it would be overpowered… it’s a freaking lightsaber! BUT! If the game was actually challenging, then it would throw enemies your way that knew how to block/avoid lightsabers. Jedi faces the same situations, sure they can destroy a bunch of geonoshians easily, but boba fett? Not so much.

Thank you for actually giving an HONEST review of this show, so many other Star Wars channels sounded overly positive as if dishonest or they were just happy about it being something different. Either way, i agree with you about the show they shouldn't have tried to do the whole "goonies" element.
