I miss NASCAR, but only in this form. NCAA football is, by far worse.... Changes across many sports, (some needed) others ruin the sport itself. ~NASCAR stages, phantom cautions, salary decreases, etc. ~NCAA transfer portal, no cap via NIL, education first, not the sport itself. Humans have a shelf life, like canned foods....

In my book Earnhardt never won the 500 !! The one in 98 was handed to him on a caution flag because if they had ran a green,white, checkered Bobby Labonte would have passed him as if Earnhardt was sitting on Jack stands !!🏁

Can we get a time capsule and bring back this year whenever we want to, without the memories of knowing how this ends up? Probably one of the greatest final seasons in sports history. It's up there with all of these superstar athletes great last seasons.

Looking at so many greats final seasons.. Jarret, Jr, Rusty, Jimmie, Martin, Kurt, etc.... I just hope it can at least be appreciated that this man not only won in his final season, but was in the championship

I miss watching Jeff Gordon essentially slaughtering the competition. O started watching NASCAR in 1998 amd stopped when Gordon retired. I've seen bits and pieces since then. Racing on short tracks in dirt and the street course in Chicago is the only interest I have now. When they introduced the "Chase" format, that killed my interest.

I always wanted Jeff Gordon to win at Vegas. I actually recorded this race back in 2001 and it was the first one that I recorded, and I am glad I did. Jeff winning made it a good addition to the collection.
