I appreciate your honest review of this movie. New subscriber!

It was very hard to watch but it's a necessary movie to watch.

Human trafficking is inexcusable. We all need to support public and private efforts to get to the root causes of the problem, and solve it in a way that recognizes the dignity and human rights of all human beings.

I dont know if you guys have any theaters in your area that are owned by Regal, i would higjly recommend getting Regal Unlimited. Its Regals membership program where you pay maybe like $20 a month and get to see basically unlimited movies for free pretty much ans 10% off on concessions. My wife and i have had it for years and if you see more then 2 movies a month it pays for itself.

I’m 64 and my mom is 84. We loved it. We drove 1 1/2 hours to see it and back. 3 hours total longer than the movie.

The first one is one of my favorite movies. I might go see this one this afternoon or tomorrow

Thanks for the good review. I just saw it tonight and enjoyed it very much. Had some dramatic points, yet also some good laughs. I especially got a kick out of the director character, who I thought was a hoot. I gave it a 9.

There has already been a sequel to The Lion King called The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. The new Mufasa movie will be Rafiki telling Kiara - daughter of Simba and Nala - the story about Mufasa's early life so it will be kind of both a prequel and sequel.

I didn;t love this film. It felt like it was straining towards orginality, and the world building felt derivative. I wish the plotting was less dense.

I actually enjoyed this one. It definitely feels like a part one and not a full movie though. It's a bunch of different people from all over the US and I'm assuming that all the stories are eventually going to link up when they all arrive in the town of Horizon (or at least the promise of the town since it doesn't appear to really exist - maybe a metaphor?) PS. I'm glad your sister is doing better, Michelle!

Because you said you liked Profile so much, because it was filmed all on a screen, I think you would also enjoy Searching a lot. It's a movie from 2018 based around the same concept, but the story is about a man who's daughter went missing

Thanks for the interesting video, ladies. Linda, you and I have similar tastes in films. I too loved Tommy Boy, which made me laugh so hard I had tears were rolling down my face. I also liked A Beautiful Mind and Midnight Express. I haven't seen some of the films you mentioned, such as Avatar, Begin Again, Snowden and Pursuit of Happiness (right title?) but will definitely look into them. Some of my faves through the years include Call Me By Your Name, The Inlaws, Death Trap and many Woody Allen films, including Manhattan and Annie Hall. Thanks again ladies and keep up the good work!

I thought Godzilla Minus One was the best film from last year as absolutely loved the human story and I’m a Godzilla fan so this was the perfect film in my opinion 10/10 for me. All films are different and we all have different opinions so definitely respect your thoughts on the film.

I enjoyed this movie. Not to the extent I was hoping for but the stunts and action were great, the cast was excellent and all the behind the scenes of the movie set sequences had my inner movie geek very satisfied! Great review

I thought the aesthetics of this film were fantastic as well as the acting. It feels like a radical re-telling of the Frankenstien mythos with a uniquely feminist narrative. I think their is credence to the idea that maybe more people's brains have been switched out than we have seen. While Bella is away God actually makes a new version of her (played by Margaret Qualley) and we don't really learn where she comes from. I am glad you two watched this film and at least kinda enjoied it!

Perhaps you could do a video on your favorite movies. I would like to see that.

I saw this @ TIFF last year. They had people stand up in the theatre that were descendants of the children he saved. It was very emotional

I love this movie. It has an A, B, and C story, and good setup and payoff. I think it might have been an ambitious first directing project for the former stuntman director, so the editing feels choppy and the pace is uneven. If you can overlook that, it's highly entertaining. Of course, if action isn't your thing, you might not appreciate that aspect of it, but it's a tribute to stuntmen, so that's what the movie is. I thought the romance plotline was fun and sweet. I loved that the lead female character is strong, and not just there as eye candy. That's my two cents. Thanks for your review, ladies.

The second half of this movie was better than the first. I am not familiar with this band or story. While it was ok, I wish it focused more on the mother than the Father. The Father was/is very unlikable and I was more interested in the moms' story and relationship with Rebecca than her Dad.
