I love this and how you seem to know a good amount of info about her!

I enjoyed parts of it but I did find it to drag on at certain parts like when they tie her up etc. I think I gave it a 3/5 lol

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not really comfortable sitting and watching that kinda stuff in a movie theater either. It's why I passed on Poor Things and went to see Perfect Days instead. I'd rather have watched a nice, honest guy scrubbing toilets for 2 hours than watch gratuitous stuff.

Just curious why sex, drugs, and violence put the score lower for you. Lots of very intelligent and clever films have those things! Just wondering:)

Anora was SO GOOD! The performances all around blew me away. The themes of immaturity and neglect came out perfectly from Annie’s and the Russian kids personalities. Both totally stunted people emotionally . Shout out to the guy who played Igor- what an insanely talented actor.

Thanks for the good review, ladies. During the first 1/4 of the fim, I was put-off a bit by all those boxes that kept appearing in the frame as well as the constant cutting back and forth between the various stories, but I got more used to it toward the end and ultimately, walked away liking the film overall. I gave it a 7.5. Yes, the AI that was used to transform Hanks was amazing. Also, I thought the ending was quite heartwarming, especially when Robin Writ's character began remembering when her daughter lost the blue ribbon as a child. I thought the use of a fixed camera in a single room throughout 99% of the film was a risky move, which as I mentioned, gave me some difficulty in the beginning. And I think that technique may turn off many audience members. Thanks again for the interesting review!

I agree with you ladies. 7/10. Saw it at Neshaminy 24. I thought thr dream sequences were jarring but well done, The individual acting performances were outstanding and the character Liam played was authentic. There was a realism to the movie and I'm glad that the actually violence was quite restained. I think the movie will age well and will be rediscovered by an audience. of home viewers who are in the mood for a unique take on the subject of CTE...

I❤ the movie- it showed great artistry all around from script, acting to images . I agree it’s a heavy movie but the theme of forgiveness has universal application.

Went to see Lee on Sunday ,excellent movie ,no one budged out of their seats until the credits finished rolling .

Did u know they had sex? I read they did in the movie. What did u think of them finding a road? It was interesting.

It was very hard to watch but it's a necessary movie to watch.

Human trafficking is inexcusable. We all need to support public and private efforts to get to the root causes of the problem, and solve it in a way that recognizes the dignity and human rights of all human beings.

I dont know if you guys have any theaters in your area that are owned by Regal, i would higjly recommend getting Regal Unlimited. Its Regals membership program where you pay maybe like $20 a month and get to see basically unlimited movies for free pretty much ans 10% off on concessions. My wife and i have had it for years and if you see more then 2 movies a month it pays for itself.

I’m 64 and my mom is 84. We loved it. We drove 1 1/2 hours to see it and back. 3 hours total longer than the movie.

The first one is one of my favorite movies. I might go see this one this afternoon or tomorrow

Thanks for the good review. I just saw it tonight and enjoyed it very much. Had some dramatic points, yet also some good laughs. I especially got a kick out of the director character, who I thought was a hoot. I gave it a 9.

There has already been a sequel to The Lion King called The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. The new Mufasa movie will be Rafiki telling Kiara - daughter of Simba and Nala - the story about Mufasa's early life so it will be kind of both a prequel and sequel.
