The third and final installment of my "Road Trip Cinema" trilogy of edits! Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore this film. A major tonal shift from the other two, and just an overall blast. Hard not to smile when thinking of this gem of a film.

Been wanting to make something using this film for a while now, just never got around to it. Sean Baker is a special filmmaker that really captures a side of the United States that is not seen anywhere else. And I couldn't find a better pairing to one of the most DIY directors than one of the most DIY music duos. Hope you enjoy this one!

A little ode to an under-appreciated gem from the past year. We hardly get a production like this these days thats just pure warm spirit for its entire runtime. Major kudos especially to all the artists involved who animated this during the Pandemic! I decided to focus more on the daily life scenes and none of the NASA related plot line. The Scavenger somehow manages to be the creepiest character in a very creepy film.
Barry Keoghan was the best part of this film. I was watching this film and wondering whether to keep watching when Barry appears and my hopes that it would be a good film immediately increased - so that were it not for this scene I think I might've given up on it. The man has such wonderful screen presence, always leaves you wanting more.

Really love the rhythm of this, and I feel like this does a great job of keeping that vibe of the film. Upbeat song matching perfectly with that technicolor glee and then flashes of the terror underneath
