Mine look pretty much exactly the same as yours but mine are silver! 🙂 I’ve been watching your videos since before I got my hearing aids a couple of months ago! I’ve got domes but had impressions taken a while ago for ear moulds. I chose neon pink in 1 ear and neon blue in the other so I can’t wait to get them fitted! 😁

I have hearings aids too I don’t have no batteries just charger

I have Phonak Naida L90s in both ears. They take a 675 batteries and custom ear molds in both ears. I get the molds replaced each ear as the material shrinks and hardens over time and the ear is no longer seals which creates feedback in the hearing aids.

Do you find you need your reading glasses more and more? Since ive had mine I’m completely dependent on them. Thinking of trying varifocals or bifocals, have you considered those?

Do you still need to wear your glasses, you don’t seem to have them on much

I enjoy this video. It sucks when you get a bad ankle sprain. Hopefully Harrison will be careful in the future. I got a bad ankle sprain about 15 years ago. It took more than three weeks to get my ankle back to normal.

Looks like you got acrylic mould this time. I have acrylic (clear) as they didn't give me an option for different colours lol which lasts longer and doesn't tend to discolour but may be uncomfortable for some people.

I’ve just got my first hearing aid (like you I’ve had a number of surgeries, but I am somewhat older lol). Again like you I only have one but it has made such a difference. Nice vid, very informative. Thank you 👍🏻

I recommend buying a Phonak D Dry Plus or a hearing aid dryer. I have a phonak d dry plus and it cleans he hearing aid inside the device and out. It also will help keep your tube and earmold dry and cleaned. So its worth the money

Hi Laura I am sorry to hear you had ear problems I hope you are feeling better,I am glad you still managed to wear your hearing aid,usually they advise against it when you have drops! Once it's back to normal you may want to get another hearing test incase your hearing aid needs adjusting maybe also try & get one for the other ear to balance your hearing! So you hear in stereo! 💖💖💖

I now have a profound hearing loss so thinking about a cochlear implant 😭make sure you look after your hearing & if you think an aid in the other ear will help nag your audiologist ❤️❤️

Hi Laura💖I am glad you had a lovely holiday you deserved it as you work hard,have you managed to see the audiologist as you said you wanted to see them in July for adjustments & maybe new tubing & earmoulds,also you were going to see if a hearing aid in the other ear would help to take the strain off the one with the hearing aid & to hear in stereo,my hearing has got to the point that I am going to ask my audiologist to refer me to be assessed for a cochlear implant in London which is kind of scary if they implant you the ear they do when the implant is out its total silence! I hope your hearing aid working well 💗💗

You just came recommended, I wear 2 hearing aids, I had just 1 from age 11 but now have 2, and I wash my moulds in water but I’d recommend a dry eaze (off Amazon) hearing aid de-humidifier for drying to tubes. It really helps and you can also put your hearing aid in them for 5 minutes every day to keep them dry. The dehumidifier is only £9-12 and lasts for 6 months and it is really good for keeping it dry. I wash my moulds in soapy water every 1-2 weeks and every day I use antibac wipes, ear puffer and stick to get wax out. I love how you keep them so clean. If you need any tips let me know, always happy to help, you’re doing really well! I have sparkly moulds too but sparkle ✨ 💜 purple xxxx

Hi laura 💐i hope you had a lovely holiday & i hope your hearing aid helped you! Its now july & you said you were going to book a audiology appointment when you got back off holiday! You will need a new earmould by now as they discolour & get harder,plus you will need new tubing,its a shame they never gave you an aid for the other ear so you can hear in stereo! Plus it puts less strain on your good ear! They may do another test to see if your hearing got any worse & make more adjustments! Hearing aids take up to a year to get used to the extra noise plus its harder trying to answer a phone! I look forward to another hearing aid video! Even if your loss in your good ear is mild try an aid to see if it helps 💖💖

Hi Laura💖I hope you & your family have a great holiday,don't forget to pack plenty of hearing aid batteries,tubing & cleaning stuff & a drying box as it will be hot there & your hearing aid will get condensation! Speaking of hearing aids,a lot of the expects say you should get an aid for the other ear as even a slight loss will affect the way your brain reacts to different sounds! 💖💖

What injections do you need, dear? You look too young to need injections a few times a week.

Hi Laura its great to have another hearing aid video from you,am glad your getting on so well with your hearing aid,i am glad you got thicker tubing,what you probably don’t know is the thicker the tubing the more sound gets to your ear! You might want to think about getting a drying pot for your hearing aid,they have a tablet in them that soaks up the moisture,they are about a fiver on amazon! You will get headaches when your not wearing your hearing aid,that’s called hearing fatigue! We all get it! A lot of the time audiologists do prescribe a hearing aid for the good ear as it puts less strain on it! And you hear in stereo! Your right about soft moulds & coloured ones as they discolour easily if they are clear! Well done for not giving up with your hearing aid as there is still a stigma with them,it helps you having long hair,plus like me you have the thickest tubing which does show! I jazzed mine up to show people I am proud to be profoundly deaf! Your lucky your hospital issues phonak hearing aids they are usually too expensive to issue! But I am lucky to have signia rechargable hearing aids,but got phonak as spare! When you next get new earmoulds maybe ask for full shell ones & not skeleton ones as you will hear better with them & you still will get cool colours! Hope you did not mind the advice now your a seasoned hearing aid wearer! All the best for the future & as I say maybe see if an aid in your good ear would take the strain off it & help you hear even better! 🦻🏻❤️

Nice to see you! My Dad had to get his hearing sorted this week as his ears were blocked, it's not nice when you can't hear as well as usual, he wasn't talking much cos he couldn't hear the reply!
