And while yes... oil everything.. but I would say more specifically... keeping all your arms clean and free from debris with oil on the MOVING parts.... that's how we've ALWAYS have done it. ... as long as you keep your stuff semi clean and semi oiled.. you'll be ok!!!!! While my knives... they get a trio of beautiful oilness.. ..1st.- ocd4edc slickemall salve... strong first btw...2nd.. KPL regular...I have the light weight and heavy... but I use regular and a VERY close 3rd.....breakthrough from BATTLE BORN the HP PRO all that combined with your stick of locktite... that's literally all you need.. to service everything you own with the HIGHEST QUALITY lubricants!!! And that's NOT an ad.. just facts!!!

My favorite and darker urples are actually hard to find I loved your numer 64 and 65 can't see blues greens reds but those golds and even tho u dont say the greys I love them too and can't wait to see you more !!! And don't forget...tan g10 can be dyed..... NOT only jade I'm saying..... I've seen people take brown g10 and make it red purple blue and green...all separately of course....natural micarta can also be dyed......

Your going to introduce rust if you do it assembled.......always try and take it apart....folders and fixed..... if you can..... doing it while it is together.. your only asking for problems.....believe me!!!!

Don't forget... you can always mix rit dyes..... I've done it to make a deep purple and bright neon green...and YES....always take apart your knife if your going to dye it... clean VERY well and try not to touch it alot before you actually do it....believe it or not.. getting finger oils out of g10 can be difficult.. so I recommend trying NOT to bare hand touch out alot before.. and DEFINITELYclean with rubbing alcohol or something like it...

Jade is cool because you could even combine different rit dye colors....... red on one end jade in the middle and red ends.. red white and blue.. that comes look cool.. or bright neon green..... black...... racing red...purple.... you could literally do any color you wanted..... that's why I love jade

I love clones. I don't want to get deep into the argument. Just be aware there are some truly great clones out there and a ton that are just cheap ass copies. I did just receive a $292.00 (OMG! I blew $300 on a frickin knife) Quiet Carry Drift. American designer and it is made in Taiwan and yes it is awesome. There are a good number of China OEM knife co's that make knives for the big name designers to include at least 4 YT knife reviewers and they also make their own original designs. As good a knife as you will find short of a hand made custom. We live in a golden age for knives. RAT 1.5, made in Taiwan.
