Thank you mate for the question. Ultimately, the performance in challenging winter conditions depends a lot on the tires and how well the truck can handle hills and starting from a stop. I'd prefer a 4x2 configuration with new high-quality tires over a 6x2 setup with worn-out cheap tires any day, not saying that 6x2 is bad, 6x2 has way better stability + heavier on the back, so more grip. Our truck gets new and excellent winter tires every season, so we haven't faced such problems yet. Personally, I've never even needed chains around the wheels, although I've seen many struggling this winter. The truck in the video is probably from Poland, Latvia, or Lithuania, and generally, they have poor tires, plus there seems to be a lack of skill. Speed is key, but they seem to be afraid of it. I also use the differential lock extensively, and often disable the traction control for better control over the vehicle. Good luck and stay safe!

Hey, I'm from Estonia and we are not allowed to drive over 19m trucks in here, b doubles can be driven only in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, some places in Germany and that's about it I guess. I'm driving in Sweden and Norway.

I thought that the B trailers had always the wheels extended backwards, but now that I think of it, makes sense that the wheels can be placed beneath the box to load and unload the cargo like a regular trailer
How do you make the link go the direction you want it to go in when you reversed it?
I think that the link is a truck itself, and I push the link in the direction where I would go with the truck if I only had a semi-trailer attached... if it makes sense...
