Anthony came to our district today and I was absolutely blown away with his presentation. I'm not going to lie; when I first heard that he incorporated magic into a presentation about mental health, I didn't know what to expect. What I certainly DIDN'T expect was to witness one of the most engaging and powerful lessons I've ever seen about the importance of self-care. His magic tricks provide a way for children to make connections to an incredibly difficult topic to understand: Mental health. He's worth whatever fee he charges to bring his message to your school or organization. More importantly, though, the message he brought to our kids was absolutely priceless.

he came to my school today and I almost cried so many times because of the things he was talking about, but yet they were all real things and real stuff. I have struggled with mental health since the age of 8 years old and it's been 5-6 years since. I have also been to a mental hospital 2 times because of sh and my 3 suicide attempts. I even had some issues today, when he was doing the speech. I have been bullied for years, and it sucks. It rlly does. I wanted to say all of these things to let people know who also struggle with all of this know they aren't alone.🫶🏻

He also did a thing in a straitjacket where the English teacher and social studies teacher rapped a chain around him and then explained a bunch of his life story, ITS SAD! And the handkerchief trick WHERE HE PULLED OUT THE BEER BOTTLE AND THERE WERE LIKE 26 BY THE END OF THE TRICK WHEN HE STARTED WITH ONE!
