Celebrating Challenge TB's Footprints in Zimbabwe
This documentary chronicles Zimbabwe's five year journey implementing the USAID global flagship, Challenge TB (CTB). The lead partner in implementing the grant in the country was the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), working closely with collaborating partners’ namely, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation. CTB supported the Ministry of Health and Child Care aligning project activities to national priorities in the TB-HIV response.
You can look forward to seeing how the specimen transport system model contributed to health systems strengthening at the primary level, how making sense of data resulted in data driven decision making, how the engagement of policy makers and the media resulted in the placing of TB on the political as well as national agenda... There is a lot of testimonials from the various beneficiaries reached in the lifespan of the project.... Watch and learn how CTB indeed made a mark in Zim.
