Hey i took everything apart and got new strips but I'm having issues putting back the acrylic diffuser support. any advice on how it needs to be put back in a certain order or why some screws aren't screwing it
i realized i didn't put the backlights properly i didn't know how accurately it needed to be so i tried taking backlights off and broke some then ordered new ones that i placed properly but I'm still having issues screwing them in before i try to tape the backlights in. if you can help that'll be much appreciated!
@@seragejamil958 it's possible either the holes are stripped out for the screws or the back lights are not the exact right version for your panel. Where it's a TCL I would probably just use the adhesive and just tape them in. I'd also test those LEDs with the power supply main board before you completely put it back together.
Same board same cooler , not installed yet. I really want to know where should i install samsung 990 pro , blazing m2 area , or where you installed ?
@@edizfbc I would do the same thing. Install it in m.2_2 because that's a Gen 4 drive. That way your Gen 5 slot will be free if you ever upgrade
@@qcsbuilds5708 what if this will be the fastest drive for me for a long time . (Maybe the only drive)Again will your opinion would be the same or no?
I am dealing with the same problem, i have a Samsung QLED 65" with one connect box. Can i follow the same procedure as yours? Thanks in advance
@@evanmatsinas8079 The panel itself will break down pretty much the same way. The only difference is you won't have a main board and a power supply inside the TV itself That's all in the one connect box
@ Thank you very much. Do you know where I can find the led strips that I am gonna need? I live in Europe and I don’t know if I can ship them from the US.
@evanmatsinas8079 I don't in Europe
You sir are awesome ! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do a very detailed repair video for this issue. Verry well done !!
Too much talking without sequence.
I am very interested in your input on the Fractal North case. Does it deserve the many complaints it has received, such as thin gauge metal and terrible screws? I am looking at getting this very case.
@@peterpulpitpounder I didn't have any issues with screw quality with the three machines that I built. As for the metal it's on par what I would expect from fractal. And they're honestly one of my favorite case brands to build in.
@@qcsbuilds5708 Thanks a lot for the input. I really appreciate it. If you think it's a good case, then it will probably work for me.
I have been saving money for these system parts for a long time. Could you please share the tests such as system performance and temperature values? I'm especially curious about the 7800X3D and mobo frequency and temperature values, how long does it keep the mobo vrams cool enough for the 7800X3D? Thanks for the review, have a healthy day. 👍
@@KlNGSNEVERDlE I have testing results. I just haven't done the video for it yet... It's a lot of editing
@@qcsbuilds5708 I followed you. 👍
Great video! Just finished the backlight replacement!
Hey great video would this also fix a completely black screen on a 55” frame? I’ve swapped in a known good one box and cable and no luck, the led lights on the bottom and flashes with a clicking sound then it stops.
@@zactowle7083 that sounds more like a bad power supply but it could definitely be a hard shorted LED. Depends on the model.
I was thinking that aswell, is the another power board on the actual tv
@zactowle7083 is this a QLED with the giant one connect box? If so the power supply is in the box. With those a lot of times it's the main board in the one connect box.
Only one usb 2 header….
@@neonist100 yeah you trade extra USB to headers for a USB-C front panel header
I have to do this to my tv it just started doing this. Where did you purchase the backlights?
@@everythingslit619 shopjimmy.com
I was going to install a Gen 5 m.2 on this board, but it reduces the PCIe lines for the graphic card from x16 to x8. So I guess better to use a gen4 for everything like gaming and rendering, and gen5 just for direct storage apps.
@@DavidPerez-co That's only true if you're running 8000 series AM5 Ryzen processors. If you're running 9000 or 7000 series that's not the case. All slots run at full speed
@qcsbuilds5708 In my case I'm installing an R9 7950x, and an RTX 4080 16gb, so it will work both ports Gen 5 and with all the PCIe lanes on both?
@DavidPerez-co only PCIE slot 2 shares lanes with m.2 slot 2 and m.2 slot 3 shares lanes with two of the SATA ports. With a 7950X, m.2 slot 1 and PCIE slot 1 are Gen 5 with all lanes active.
Any advice with a TCL QM8? Is it similar disassembly compared to this? It is an 85” so it’s going to be a total pain. Think it will be possible? I have one small section of backlight out.
@@justinh1258 haven't done one of those. But looking at pictures it looks like it's going to be a cross between a TCL and a QLED Samsung. Looks like the glass will come off with the frame just like the Samsung.
Those coils on the power supply would be a fun time if there like a pc power supply 😮

@Pizzacat1337_ yes ... The motherboard just has to support 4x4x4x4 PCIe16x mode

Try not to bend the hell out of the new strips , they should arrive perfectly flat
You're correct. But if the box gets roughed up in shipping...not much you can do.
Very helpful, thanks! Used this guide to replace the backlight (only 16$!) for my Samsung UE75RU7100. Good as new again. Lifting the LCD panel on a 75" was nerve wracking though, but we were very carefull (it was definitely not a one man job) and everything worked out perfectly. Thanks for providing so much detail!

I have been trying to get you to give me info about getting a replacement screen to TCL Roku TV please let me know if you can help me find one please. Thank you Pete
@@PeteRodriguez-g4b they don't make replacement glass for TCL. Sorry but your a new TV.
You want your radiator pipes coming from the top otherwise you will get air into your cooler pump which can cause a gurgling or vibrating sound and shorten the life of your pump.Your cooler pump should always be lower as you want gravity to bring water down your pipes into your cooler and not the possibilty of a small amount of air getting into it.Sealed all in one coolers have a small amount of air in them. The manufacturers cannot remove all the air as it will leave the system presurised causing the possibility of water leaks and other problems.I have installed my radiator at the top but i can see you dont have that option.Mind you it does not always happen but If you do get air into it and hear noise just remove your radiator and lift it higher and shaking it will disperse it back into the radiator.

@@stxr3731 Yes the integrated harness is standard 4 pin PWM and ARGB. So you can use any fans you want.

@stxr3731 yes just be sure to check the amperage pull on your fans to where all together they're less than 1 amp. Most fan headers will not support or than one amp a power draw.
Take out the cooper lid and add water. I order 3 day ago the same cooler and when I shake it I can hear how the water splash insite haha. My one take around 40-50ml more liquid to fill to top.
Hello there :) Thank you for the nice video. I just built a system yesterday with the same mobo and the same aio. First time i ever used an aio tbh so i was a bit clueless. I connected the aio's cables like you did except for the vrm one which i put on CHA_FAN1 on the bottom part of the mobo. I did that because thats what seemed right by what I saw on videos and the mobo's manual didn't explain it in detail. I hope this is the cause of my issues and i will try to swap the cable and see if it fixes it when back home from work. My broblem is basically that (i believe the radiator fans) spike to high rpm with only a little bit of movement in a game like WoW ie. And when the character stays put, the rpm goes down. It's weird and i played with bios settings a bit without any improvement (version 3.06). I also tried the latest beta version 3.12 i believe, and i run into more problems with that one, mostly with the pump's fan working at max. I rolled back to 3.06 for now. I hope that changing that one cable to CPU_FAN2 does the trick. I got really upset with it honestly. You didnt run into any broblems i guess? And also did you change any settings in the bios? Thank you in advance for any response.
