Only 15 rounds here in CO. But I love them. I do not go for the larger size shell with the 15rd capacity. I get the smaller shell 15rds and man, this is the way.
@@Mr-Orange-X That sucks you are limited to 15 rounds. Definitely agree it doesn’t make sense to use 15 round mags that look like 30’s. I always stay as compact in mag dimensions as I can for the round count. Thanks for watching!
I have that same handguard and what I did is dremeled the sides a bit that I wanted to add an attachment cuz nothing would fit but I made it fit lol it's up to you though if you dont care about messing with it a bit I don't careits just a handguard so that's what I did and not I have all the attachments I wanted on them just have to modify it a bit
terrible video. Mostly still photo of Kahr pistol. Why ?
Should try 36gr and a 53v max it’s magic
Did you test agin at the 34.5gr of varget?
@@varmint223 Good question. It was so long ago I forget. I’ll have to look at my records to see if I did. Thanks for watching!
I’ve got one and hade it for a year. It’s been a great barrel.
Awesome! I’m really liking it so far. Thanks for watching!
I know this is an old video but I just loaded some 50 gr nosler BT with H380 out of my Savage model 11. 38.5 and 40.5 was the best grouping. No signs of pressure in cold weather. I would use varget if I hunted them year around. I don’t know SD or ES cause these are just hunting loads 200 yards top is what I shoot so I don’t put it through the chrono
Awesome! I was fighting a Remington M700 VSSF in 22-250 for a little while. It shot erratically so I ended up skim bedding the HS precision stock. That cured the problem. At the 100 yard range yesterday, it shot one of my handloads (39 grains H380 @ 2.350 COL) into one hole! I was using the Speer 50 grain TNT bullet. It shot varget and IMR4895 pretty well but H380 was the best. Need to make some more rounds and retest. 2:42
This is my edc 🫡
Great choice! Thanks for watching!
is that a 380?
Yep, it’s a .380. Thanks for watching!
yeah, im glad to see you back at it too. what's the chances we'll see some rifle and reloading content?
I’m hoping to get back into some reloading content in the next couple of months.
@dgunnut6550 awesome. I'm looking forward to it.
A gun even my child sized hand can hold.
It's awesome to see you back online!🎉 Hope it's not another 2 years before we get to see more from you👍
I hope so too! Thanks for watching!
Nice to know your still kicking been a long time
Thanks for watching!
The safety can easily be removed.
What color is the ergo? ODG or FDE?
I found a battery-operated shaker tray that makes loading the tubes like greased lightning. Between the shaker and the RCBS, I am a very happy camper.
God bless your grandpa! What an honor and a blessing to receive such a treasure.
Nice gun
20 rounders come with style points too
Varget is a great powder but we cant get most Hodgdon powders here in the UK now as our govt says we cant have it its carcinogenic, another of there lies to take things awaw from us
Terrible scope
Why?
Waste of money, original was fine
How has the p365x been shooting since making this video? Do you consider it reliable now?
Absolutely reliable! No failures in two years.
I’m sure you know by now, but you can get a plug for that grip.
Grandpa gifted mine, 1948 dated, by him, as he told me when and where he bought it. I got it in 1978, 550-1 model. I shot only LR for about 20 years, and found the floating chamber stuck in the forward position. Took a pick and pulled it back, and oiled it with light oil. Shot all shorts fine after that. I annually pull the chamber out now, clean and polish it, and it works as intended. It is extremely accurate, specifically with SK ammo’s, and is sub MOA with most bulk cartridges. I do not shoot high velocity rounds, tho, as a friend of mine had one swell in the floating chamber, and he had to completely dismantle it to get it out. The sear mechanism and spring are a bitch, to reinstall, but if you can lift it prior to installing the spring and screw, it goes in. There is a YT video (or two) showing this procedure.
A word of caution, don’t send Burris your American made scope for repair. They destroyed mine and sent me a China made scope.
Thank you for doing this video. Purchased a 22-250 and am now chasing the best load/powder/ammo for it. Great information!
Does it xone with Weaver rings ir pic
I actually like the 10 rnd. flush fit mags for the same reasons you describe.
Love my 365, think you will too.
I have a 686 plus TK cut the cylinder for me and a Also have a 686 Performance Plus. Factory cut for clips Fiochi, PMC,and several other brands are PIA to load the 7th PPU ammo seems to work best. Now my 627 8 shot loads every brand fine. I’ve tried TK custom moon clips and speed beez moon clips both on the 7rd a PIA 7 rds maybe because it’s odd number just seems to be a PIA
I use 48grs. Of H380 with 130 Gr Speer,very accurate
I can charge my saiga with mine folded. Its not ideal but it works.
I had good results with the 55gr SBK and 25gr of H335
CFE tends to work best at the top end of safe loading pressures.
Pmags are garbage.
It's really helpful when you're looking for a video to help you install something, and the install takes place off screen
Zzzzzzzz
I just inherited my Grandfathers 550 a few hours ago. Shot and owned many other firearms before but this one is special cause he’s 87 and likely doesn’t have too many years left on earth. I’ll cherish this specific firearm until I die or pass it down to one of my kids.
Showing off your pistol at your neighborhood BBQ IS A REAL AMATURE MOVE 😡 Stop being a child showing off your new "toy" !
Does anyone have a review on the D&H curved 20 round magazine
Boy sure like all the comments on the powders, I shot the Superformance Varmint 50gr V-Max and got 3970 FPS average. These are very accurate , shot a .50 group @ 300 yds, and so hot, wish I could find what powder they are using. One bench shooter told me to try AR Comp, XBR or CFE to get the feet per second, the one thing I found is in my 24" barrel Bergara the O-Give is .111 off the lands, that's one huge jump. Need to get some loaded and work on seating depth to see if shorter seating will work. Great info and wish I could know what you found out. 👍👍👍👍
Been shooting the Hornady Superformance Varmint Express 50 gr at 300yd, had a group at .40" @ 300 yds. this stuff is incredible and FPS is 3970, Sure wish I knew what powder they are using. Shooting a Bergara B-14 with 24" barrel, haven't checked the distance off the lands yet but plan on trying to copy their loads as in their boxes . Great info you have .👍👍
They are more concealed on your person too.
Your channel caught my eye regarding the important subject of 20 round mags. I’m about to pull the lever on 30, and now you’ve provided info I didn’t think of. Thanks 🎉 I’m getting the 20 from brownells
O.K. "the reason I'm going in seven grain increments is because I've got a seven shot cylinder" HUH? That is where I get off.
@douglasbattjes3991 24 minutes ago Very interesting video, I'm shooting a 22-250 in a Bergara with 24" heavy barrel, Hornady Superformace Varmint V-Max 50gr ammo, right out of the box , can't check the lands as don't have the gun, it's partners, and he's hunting Chucks, but will soon as I have it with a too. It runs the Avg. FPS is 3970 , and shot under .250 group , at 300 , and trying to find what powder they are using in their ammo. Think they are around 50 off the lands, my COL is 2.346-2.350 an they shoot amazing . I could post a photo of the results. Like to hear others info, and yours was very interesting. These are running so fast and so accurate at distance On the 6-25 magnification. on the scope, it's only one click or a tenth of a mill @300 yds. Your Hornady ammo is only running at 3594 with Varget ? did you do any lab radar on the box factory loads.? 👍👍👍👍
Best production 1911 ever made. Great build quality, good parts, and American made. Buy now! Buy with confidence.
I’m currently considering Smith E-series vs an Sig Nitron 1911. Same price at my local gun shop. Would you prefer this over the Sig? Why?
My 2nd 5-shot group with the ProHunter bullets over Varget went into about a 3/4" group at 100. The first group was decent, but I had a 1st round flyer. I haven't worked up a load yet. That was just the first 10 rounds. The shape of the ProHunter bullet allows you to get the bullet closer to the rifling, while still being magazine-length. Be careful not to jam these bullets into the lands. Flat-base bullets tend to shoot really well at 100 yards, but once you get over 300, you should probably be looking at boattail bullets.
I think your cleaning is what is screwing up your shots
