@@Elsasuiiife the base smells fine, no rubber smell. It is definitely softer than a heavy bag though, and I don't know how you could harden it

Hi mate I have just bought a century 2XL Wavemaster. Problem I am having is when you tighten it, it becomes loose no matter hard you try and tighten it. 2XL is supposed to be locking version, century haven’t been any help they just say tighten it, been reading about other users with same problem, any advice? Glad I saw this on my feed. I dropped down and did pushups. My 40 yr old out of shape self did 30 pushups. I think needed to do 75 pushups to be fit to join the Navy.

@@NickvanderSluys I've been busy, there for a while I was only doing 1 or 2 sessions a week. On the upside, I recently finished my Master and upped the training frequency. i focus on a bit more bodybuilding right now. I needed a break, mostly mentally, from the heavy weights.
Oh nice, congratulations man! Hey a bigger muscle is a stronger muscle right, so when you get back to heavier lifting I'm sure it's all good. Do whatever feels good for you.

I was wondering if adding water to the sand filled base could stabilise it even more, or if it wasn't worth the hasle.

Finally someone hitting hard one of those and having it filled! I need some stuff for my kyokushin training, but no walls to hang a heavy bag. Was considering one of those but feared that it would move too much. Hesitated much between this one, the xxl or the Bob. Feels like a combo of this for cardio/free hit and a punching bag like the one on your left for precision/high kick training could be a nice combo

@@eladentopistevo Yeah freestanding it does move around quite a bit. It's solid compared to other standing bags,, but when you only have a small space it's annoying when it moves.

My gym has a ton of these, but hanging bags are so much better in my opinion
If you have the space hanging bags are the best for sure.

That's definitely tough!
Especially for legs there's tons of things you can do without weights to make them strong and fit. I got some of the best pump by doing sissy squats on my last leg workout. Give it a go. Also when the weather is better there's things outside too that you can do for legs.
My legs are so sore from this workout. Sissy squats really deserve a better name, they're great for the quads. And yeah I love (hill) sprints for legs.

These are at my kickboxing gym. They are awesome but eventually the threads at the bottom can get play in them.
I haven't had that so far, hopefully it stays that way. 😅 I suppose it gets used much more in a gym
