@ziMoJOD so i just looked up and jab of god is NG+ so yeah dude, just gonna have to wait till i actually beat the game first before i can even use that lol

just ultrawide with mapped controls on a g920. there's no H pattern support in game, so i just mapped 3rd gear to gear down and 4rth gear to gear up and threw a printed sequential handle on it. the controls don't read steering as an axis tho, idk maybe there's been a hardware control update, but at the time it felt bad.

idk, you mean like how its getting mixed reviews compared to DiRT 2.0? I waited till sale to get it because of that, but i gotta say, performance in VR is better than i expected from what i heard. ive only played one 2 stage rally so far so i cant say much more about it than that.

ah, that makes sense. starting to get the feel for the 4th stage engine tune on the Legacy RS on dry gravel, should i push it to the 5th stage? i always try to go for a more "smooth is fast" approach, cause when it starts getting squirrely the repair bills start stacking up lol

@@thirdimpact172 yea smooth is always the fastest when it comes to 6, 5 and even 4, but 3 down you need a little oversteer, just enough to line you up with the exit, to help you accelerate away faster. I hardly play career mode, but afaik a few hps here and there wont really make much difference in the turns, only on straight lines. I always restart on mess ups too :D, Love to get to the finish with all 4 tires still inflated.

hey, yeah theres a few settings a messed up this time around, i had it perfect a few years back, but screwed around with it when doing shadow of colossus lol, in particular the particle effect textures are leaving some weird lines that i dont like this time around, not sure if its a sprite fix or what. used to have to map the hotas and pedals with X360ce, but its been working even better just mapping it though pcsx2, seem to get more of the axis range out of the throttle, which is normally on r1/l1, so i guess the ps2 controller had some pressure sensitivity on those like they did the face buttons, back when i mapped with x360ce they seemed to be a digital 0-1 rather than an axis 0-100

@@SaturnianDragonah, i can already see a few thing different from my current set up. ill be trying it tonight with more of zero. going through all of them with just the F-4 as a special challenge in anticipation of the heatblur f-4 for DCS

@@SaturnianDragonso i dont have vulkan as a renderer, could be difference in intel to amd architecture? im running intel with a rtx 1060. everything else settingwise was the same other than half pixel offset, so we'll see if that does the trick

@@thirdimpact172 I tested the same settings but with D3D11, and that seems to produce no visual bugs, although I felt the frames are more consistent/less hitches and slowdowns when I use Vulkan. You should be able to safely use D3D11 if you don't have Vulkan. I'm running Intel i7-11700 with a 3070.

the dune stuff is free dlc for MSFS2020. normally its gonna look better than this, the problem is when running in VR it mirrors both eyes to screen and you cant prioritize just one for recording. ive tried everything, even openVR plugins for OBS, the problem is with how MSFS launches VR internally, it doesn't activate through steam VR so i cant mirror there, so im just stretching one half of a screen to fit the whole screen.

@@thirdimpact172 I was trying to record VR for a while, but finally gave up. I have a Pimax 8K X. Things look fantastic in it, but it requires a really top-notch computer to work well.

RTX 3060 8gb. i had been working on my computer in zbrush for multiple days, then did some installs before playing this, there wasnt any chop in the HMD, normally isnt any in mirror either, but that was probably why.

nope, saw a ton of other drift and gta ones, but no AC ones, was thinking of going with 4A cause speed, but 2 just felt right

what? ive streamed all my gameplay here, ALL OF IT, this was recorded a day or 2 before the nerf i believe. i patched on stream so its all up for anyone to see, i got nothing to hide lol

i kinda messed up when i hit that obstacle flying backwards, took a few hits and it threw off the rhythm

@@destroyer___3424 thanks! ive been doing it for free clip storage mainly, like this vid i ripped from a stream, but quality is trash, so im gonna try to record more for clips and put more effort into streaming when i do. i see you also play Ace Combat! NICE!!! i actually fly civilian GA aircraft so i play alot of that and DCS/MSFS too

god i wish... in my dreams maybe lol, i could see from and aces working together under bamco, but konami is the real problem. tbh im hoping for either a WW2 ace combat game (cause why not, take some risks, could be cool) or a continuation of the current osea story but since erusea and yutobania has already been done, do osea V leasath or something from one of the other conflicts but its still just belka as always, and with character/occupation/rating hopping, kinda like in AH, where for one mission youd be in your standard fighter as the protag, but for another you could be doing c130 troop airdropping, or civilian observation work in a cessna, have one SR-71 mission flying at the edge of space, i think some variety would be nice, like in 5 but even more so

not for the ending i went for first lol, although looking back, a Torres reference may have been more fitting, Cipher is gonna be for a good end playthrough, should have already switched liveries tbh. it will be perfect when i can mod rusty to have a galm 2 skin

I always thought it was based on how long you take, but that may be a factor too
