That was a mistake: THUD happens in premature contraction * the reason is because when this premature contraction happens after it come a compensatory pause which fills the heart with extra blood and once this extra blood is ejected from the heart, patient will feel a what so called thud

A couple of things to clear up: - The thyroid hormone is AMINO ACIDE BASED and is LIPID SOLUBLE. Hence the exception so its not a water soluble hormone that acts lipid it is just amino acid based and lipid soluble so acts in the cell. - Second the question regarding does iodine supplements reverse goiter, The answer is yes BUT just physiologically meaning the iodine will be back to normal and the gland will function but the enlargement of the gland itself will still be visible, it may decrease in size slightly but nonetheless it is still visible.
