She sound too light and nasal...no resonanse at all anywhere, how is this good?! Her prime is gone

imo she's too lazy to sing compared to her prime era.. like her prev songs were delivered in falsetto and mid-belt... but i'm glad she started belting in LTM 😢

@@wiggly95078 Taeyeon's resonance has always been inconsistent though. I think the last time I heard resonance was during The Unseen when she did Into The Unknown. During her 'S concert I don't remember hearing resonance but her mid-belts were more powerful, maybe chesty? Does she sound nasal in 'If It Is You' to you? She usually doesn't lean into that nasality when she sings ballads. She does sound lighter though. There's pros and cons because prime Taeyeon wouldn't be able to deliver those F5s as effortlessly

​Yeah in the live clip of LTM on her channel she put more power into her belting there than in this version. You can actually hear in the behind-the-scenes video. I remember her saying a while back that she doesn't want to sing those types of songs for a while and she really hasn't if we look at her recent releases.

Sure her mixed quality is regressing with her choice of stylistic approach, but she does supported more Eb5s in these last few years than when she was in her "prime". Also she might get F#3 in lower register and G5 in hv if she really didn't went with stylistic nasally/airy approach, she even had some passable G#5s in these few years. But yeah, G3/G#3-C#5/D5-F5/F#5 is really her "comfort" zone for years now as she doesn't really need to put effort carrying support around those notes

Vocal tiers don’t actually exist,they are made up by kpop stans who dont know the proper meaning of breath management while singing. How are you going to judge someone’s breath management and diaphragm engagement when the perfomance wasn’t life?They were dancing to their recorded vocals.They sound good but that’s not how you analyze someone’s technique.Also there are so many criteria’s that this made up system isn’t even talking about like agility,vibrato etc

@@choowiez1515 That’s the most common mistake. At an Average level, some can almost support C5 or even C#5. That doesn’t mean they should go higher. For example, take Seulgi. She supported C5 and C#5, but she’s still at the same place. Why? Because she has many issues, like nasality and tongue tension. In Sio’s case, she needs more solid belts around B4 ~ C#5.
