Don't top up your brake fluid, unless it's actually leaking. If it's leaking, you should get that fixed asap. Brake fluid will go down as your pads wear and you're just going to make a huge mess when it comes time for new breaks if you top it up.

Both our NHW20 Prius cars batteries failed at about 120K miles and had to be replaced. Any money we saved on fuel went back to Toyota to buy new batteries. I won't buy another.
Bought a used gen 2 face lifted model. Bought it with 200Mm (~115k miles), driven it for just over 70Mm (divide by 1.6 to get miles) and apart changing the 12v batteries twice (original the first time and a varta/bosch the second time) the car has been a reliable rattle can with a lot of potential. Would buy an other Toyota hybrid, but i'd avoid anything with an outside connection other than GPS. You want me to give you data you give the car to me for free and i pay for it's upkeep and insurance.
