Hello, these tune up subwoofer as not really for loud or deep bass as they are limited to the size of these upgrades and are designed to give you a pep-up on the lower frequencies as Defenders only have 4" speakers front are rear and although these can be upgraded these is only so much a 4" speaker will do. We sell a lot of these tune up subs and it will get your defenders to play some of the missing lower frequencies but honestly if you want low bass your going to have to have a 10" or 12" subwoofer and amplifier and box and these take up a lot of boot space. This type of remote start add on needs an additional key and parts to allow factory alarm/immobiliser to be disarmed upon the Clifford activation on the intellistart activation. This is not cheap or easy to do and most installers would not take this upgrade on as a job as it takes hours of work to install everything. Hi Simon. Yes we had to put quite a lot into the front and rear doors and floor and boot area as the manufacturers really done put enough as this is extra cost. If you want to purchase any of the Skinz Soundproofing from us we have lots in stock from £5 per sheet, I hope this helps.

Of course this will have added weight to the original vehicle however we feel that this is well worth the slight loss of MPG on such a vehicle and lets be honest if you drive a vehicle like this your not worried about putting a little extra in fuel in the vehicle to get the Amazing Sound Quality this upgrade gives the customer.

@@sourcesounds8849 i was for sur not worried about the mpg, more of driving characteristics, sure not important on this type of vehicle. I would like to soundproof my CLS and I was looking into an indication of extra weight. Is it more or less the 50kg?

@@mariomajcica4618 the Skinz sound proofing is 15.5KG per bulk pack box with 27 sheets in this and we have probably used 5 boxes so this plus the additional audio products will be more than 50KG but every customer has different needs and we would look at each customers needs and work out a solution to suit their individual needs and budget. Hello thank you for your message and I would suggest that you contact the installer who will have originally installed this system as we only offer support on work we have fitted as there are so many variables in fault finding and please speak to the company who fitted this as they will who what items and where these items are installed. If you struggle the other way would be to contact Clifford UK directly and hopefully they could shed some light on your problems. I hope this helps and hopefully you get a solution to your problem.

These were custom made and not something off the shelf and part of the amazing work our talented installation team have fabricated in house to make this look and sound fantastic. I hope this helps.

Hi Terry, I can't see your name on our customers who we have installed one of these systems so I assume this was fitted elsewhere? The warranty is a limited lifetime and this only covers the failure of the main control unit and not the installation and Yes the alarms do need to serviced yearly as they rely on the factory vehicle switches and the other sensors to be checked to make sure this system is operating correctly and I would have thought this would have been explained to you by Clifford UK. I would suggest you take this up with the company who installed this system, Sorry but I am not going to get involved in a argument or a debate on some other company's work. However if we ever have an issue with something we have supplied and fitted as a responsible installer we would sort this out and with all our Clifford Systems we explain the alarm and its operation and also that they need to be serviced and I can understand your frustration but we pride ourselves on our installation and service and this is something that customers often Don't consider when they choose the installation company to fit there alarms as paying a little more to get the best installers to do the work will always pay off on the long run. Like I said earlier we are sorry you have had a bad experience with another installation company but this is nothing to do with ourselves and it looks like your just looking to vent your frustration at anything Clifford

Naim for bentley. It has 2200 watts 18 speakers and is regarded as the best stock factory original sound system ever fitted to any production car ever.

@@cephasmakuzva this is true and as a factory product it’s good however the speakers and the amplifier is not Naim Products and only the processing. The overall sound and bass response was not up to our customers needs and this was cured by properly sound proofing the vehicle and adding extra power amplifiers and subwoofers .. Most car manufacturers will never produce something that a true Hi-Fi lover will consider fantastic and this is why a car audio specialist will always need to be consulted to help the vehicle owners get the sound they are looking for.

@@sourcesounds8849 thats exactly right. I agree but for the average listener they say its the best factory sound system in a car. What hi-fi gave it 10/10. 2200 watt in a car is ridiculous and anything over 12 or 13 speakers in a car is unessessary. Sounds not really going to get anymore 'surround' than that. Your ear wont notice so theres no point. Range rover have the record for most speakers in a car from factory 29 speaker meridian that produces 1700 watts. Flipping ridiculous 29 speakers from factory. More speakers don't necessarily make it better
