Yeah the KM100 is just a cheap programmer but it gets me through the majority of vehicles in my area. I still haven't been able to clone a chip with it.

Sorry. One day I'll get all the info in a video. The guy who owns the vehicle got the key cuts with the registration and his ID. I planned on using the Lishi but he already had the code. I used the Autel KM100 for programming the key then went through all the close door, lock doors, insert and remove the key 6 times ETC to program the fob.

I used side A on the stock clamp as specified by the machine on line 4 for the tip

@@FTRVDenny M5 clamp? People have been having issues with it.

@@Mattslockshop yes the M5. This is the 4th time. It shows the cuts on the screen and they are right on but it cut them wrong. I'm not sure if it's user error or machine error. I haven't seen anything about others having this problem so it makes me think it's me. I know on Chrysler remote head keys it tells you to line it up on the furthest line but that is impossible with the remote head so I use the 4th line.

That makes sense. I guess their heads haven't changed color yet because they're young. On our way back from church today we saw two bald eagles circling and when we pulled into the parking lot behind our condo they were circling over our parking lot. It was pretty amazing! Of course I didn't have my phone at church.. so the phone is in the house when I got home and couldn't take a picture not that it would have done it justice anyway

@@Webbsspinoftruth I've patched my roof many times and sealed it but every spring it seems like a new leak. Now I have a soft spot on my roof at the top of the ladder. I've been watching videos about repairing it but living in mine full time makes it difficult to remove a section of the roof to replace the wood. My next RV will have a rounded roof instead of a flat roof. I've seen others who put support beams from floor to ceiling with nice oak or maple boards for the ceiling to increase the strength of the roof. Are you going to record how you repair it?

@FTRVDenny No, I just wanted it for camping. I'm serious about rethinking about this. She runs well, but I am worried about mold in it since the leak. I might just have my son tear it apart and start from scratch.

@@Webbsspinoftruth That's a great idea. These are usually wooden framed (some are metal) and black mold loves wet wooden structures and can make you very sick.

After watching the full video, that locker was quite good. Here in CA it wouldve went for multiple hundred dollars, as I have a buddy that buys them for a living. Can't believe that old lady, she just wanted a free locksmith!!!

@@andrewbodey5025 That's how it is round here. Everyone thinks they should get everything free but when they want to sell something or a service, they want top dollar. If i setup at a swap here, I could have an item marked $5 and I would get offers of .50 or "can I have it free?"

Yes. I love this machine but it takes a few cuts to get used to it. It cuts so fast and easy that I find myself running keys through a couple times to make sure they're cut. They have a new one out now that runs on a battery. I can't afford it yet but hope to soon.

I would just use my space and depth keys with the Nomad. I've never tried it with the XHorse

I have everything I need to use my gopro but I'm not a little guy so when I tried to use a chest mount to show the programming, my stomach blocked most of it lol.

Yes it programs the remote along with the transponder. Make sure the battery is at least 2.8volts in the fob. there are no check engine lights on and there are no aftermarket stereo, alarm or remote start

You should be able to run a scan and clear any faults with the KM100

@@FTRVDenny Well now I erased my original key but the fob works on it. My new key works but not the fob. Going thru the adding a key function it says that it succeeded but I can't add my original key back. Ive restarted the KM100e but its not working as it should...

They are all prescriptions except the dandelion route

@@Mattslockshop You are close. I used to live in Hempfield. I didn't realize that there were other locksmiths nearby

So far I have only used wifi to do updates. I try to update once a week so I don't end up in a situation where it won't work without the update. However, if absolutely necessary, I can update with the hotspot on my phone. It takes a bit longer. This has been a great machine. It is NOT good using the clamp for residential keys and when decoding, I do it at least twice to compare and see if there is a difference. it isn't perfect at decoding.

@@FTRVDenny Ok. With decoding, does it struggle with automotive key decoding? That's primarily what I would be using it for. Thank you.

@@andrewbodey5025 It does pretty good with automotive but I always run the decode twice just to make sure it matches up. I hate wasting blanks

i think i meant to mention you when I was recording the no parking sign where the Cadillac was parked but a woman came up to me and interrupted me. She broke a strap on her shoe and was asking if I had a stapler on me. I'm like I don't typically carry a stapler in my pocket.
