5 Exercises to manage a Bakers Cyst
Doing a few daily exercises can help you manage a Bakers Cyst and the symptoms associated with it.
Exercise 1.
Hamstring Stretch
This may improve knee extension if limited
Exercise 2.
Standing Calf Stretch This
This stretch may lower tension in the lower leg
Exercise 3.
Wall Squats
Squats help strengthen your quadriceps which support the knee.
Exercise 4
Side stepping with resistance band
This exercise strengthens glutes which help stabilise knee and hip.
Exercise 5.
Heel slides
This exercise gently improves knee flexion if limited
Light exercise such as walking, Pilates and Uganda may also be beneficial.
Ensure you are wearing correct footwear
A lightweight knee compression sleeve may assist when active

The side bend with a kettle bell for over 50! Please review this ! I could go on and on main thing is clients osteoporosis must not do this .
There are plenty of women over 50 that wouldn't risk the knee injury that can come from lunges. My search continues.
There are various ways of lunging , I have grade 4 arthritis in both knees but I modify back lunges , no way can I do forwards and the biggest thing is to hinge from the hip as in a squat not keep back straight , less shearing force on the knee and the butt works harder x

Thank you for that good advise. I've used weights/exercise off/on for past 15yr but had an accident that kept me down for about 4 yr. Unable to do yard work or exercise BUT finally I'm healing and since I'll be 74 in a few weeks, I've lost muscle mass and become very weak. However, I started (slowly) with weights and walking a month ago and just last night as I was getting up off the floor, I did it with legs only. Usually, I'm pulling up on anything close by. :^D I had read about the metabolism reacting to weights so I'm hoping to get mine back. I just watched your kettlebell workout and liked it very much. I usually weight about 120 but have gained 15 lbs recently when I went off keto. I How much does your bell weight? Thank you so much, p

Thank you, Dana! I tried this exercise, and your back strengthening with a yoga ball and the wall squats with yoga ball. What a huge difference with a ball, I'm amazed! I have chronic lower back pain, occasional knee pain and am focused especially on building my core. As a woman in her 40s, I often feel like I'm in my 60s because unfortunately, remote work at a laptop combined with so many things we have to do these days on phones/laptops has led me to fairly a sedentary lifestyle. My back, neck and shoulders are suffering for it. Your channel is really motivating though - just what I need to gain some strength back!
