Yes, but it's not worth the cost and time. You need to lube your steering gear box. The 10mm fill nut is under the steering wheel and throttle, takes about 1 quart. Hard to get to if the throttle lever set pin is seized and you'll have to cut some stuff like I did. Steers like a dream now; absolutely no need for power steer.
I have the same model tractor I'm from Sri Lanka ,I have a problem with the P T O system, PTO shaft & the Gear lever has been removed some time ago. Now I don't know how to fix it , So can you please explain how it's fixed with a video clip
Depends on your skill. Yesterday's tractors dot com will get you everything you need for a complete overhaul for like $1500. Depending on how "nice" you want to get it you could spend upwards of 4 or 5k. If you don't do it yourself and pay a tractor shop or an expert to do it for you you're looking at ten grand.
4-17-24,I just got a Fordson Dexta ,thanks for your video,I have alot to learn,I think mine is 58 or 59
I have the same one I just bought, is the hydrologic fluid fill at the back?
Yes, it's a large hex nut right behind the seat
I want to add a power steering u think can happen 😊

Order the replacement part from yesterdaystractors dot com and install it.
Any thoughts on what a restoration might cost? I have my grandfathers Dexta, and it is a good bit rustier than yours.

Yeah, she starts nice and sounds good too. Same with my 1959 Dexta. I sure like these little Fordson tractors.
I got one I am fixing to drag out from behind a barn on some property we own. Don’t know why it was parked
Its sad to look at the state of our country right now. This is a hard reminder.
