I don't know what you got from this video, but let me tell you it is D2 steel material, and may be you know we cannot quench it. In water or oil, D2 steel material has to be air-cooled. That is why I put it first at room temperature to be cooled. I wanted a hardness of 40 HRC, so I tempered it at 900 celsius. First, it was brittle, so to make it more tough, I put it again in the furnace at 150 °C for two hours, and I repeated the process twice. And honestly, I am very satisfied with the result.
