Great video, makes these drips simple, my only issue is I hope you are not always leaving all of your equipment out in the truck. I have noticed this to be the theme these days with some of our guys. But great video
This video was very very helpful with me being a new medic. The way it was explained made so much sense and gave me such a better understanding of how to do this. Thank you!!!
Anthony Stankewitz ami drips are always good. I think I've got it down but always good to see other ways that may be easier. Anything that is usually not done every day is always good to brush up on.
This oughta make you laugh. I started in Fire/EMS in Arkansas where I was born. I now work in SW Colorado. I was reviewing the math for TXA drips the other day and did a similar verbal explanation. One of the other medics didn't buy it and we had to whiteboard the math a few different ways to satisfy him. Anyway, after about 5 minutes my training captain finally piped up and said, "Hey, just because he has a southern accent doesn't mean he's a dumbass and can't do basic algebra!" It's good to see a fellow southerner holding down the nitty gritty details for our curveball patients, too!
I can't believe as much as I am on TH-cam, this is the first time I have seen your videos. As usual you are destroying convention and "tradition". I love this! I'm precepting today and I was teaching how easy the clock is. In lieu of that and switching to a 10 drip set, this is genius. I'm a new subscriber! Keep it up!
