“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Thank you so much for your support! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video!
Thank you, I've been looking for this recipe. I'm going to give it a try for Christmas dinner salads
Awesome! Just remember, if the salad starts spinning, it might be too excited about the holidays!
Been a bit under the weather think I might try this this week thanks for posting!!
A salad to cure what ails you? Sounds like a recipe for a green miracle! Just don’t expect it to replace chicken soup!
뭐가 이렇게 재밌니?
Well, when you see a giant tteokbokki that looks like it could double as a boat, it's hard not to laugh!
Every thing looks awesome!
Everything does look awesome, but remember, it’s not just a feast for the eyes-our taste buds were in for a wild ride too!
😂❤😊
😀
Que fofa ❤❤
Que fofa indeed! I was aiming for "epic," but she’ll take "cute" as a compliment!
❤ CAPTIVATED! Tolosa looks soul-restoring.
Right? Tolosa is seriously amazing! Can't believe how much history is packed into that little town. There's something about walking around a thousand-year-old town that puts life into perspective. You gotta check it out for real!
Ich muss weinen wenn ich dieses Video sehe
Tränen sind nur die Art, wie dein Herz sagt: „Wow, das ist gut!“ Mach dir keine Sorgen, ich hab ein Taschentuch für dich bereit! 😉
Das haben die سه Tiere nicht verdient 😂😢
Ah, but every great love story needs a few dramatic plot twists-even if that means some animals get a little more attention than they deserve!
Ich bete für alle Tiere ❤
Love that! Animals totally need all the good vibes they can get! 🐾❤️
Your dog, Kiki is so beautiful!!!!❤
Thank you. She thinks so, too. 😀
this is so pretty❤
Thank you. Young was shopping early in the morning, and Steve's song just kept going though her head, so she video'ed it.
Love it❤!
Thank you!
i think dbag rats own this place and I am sicilian
Sicilian pride is strong! But I assure you, the only thing scurrying around at Monica's is the delicious seafood making its way to your table! They treated us very well, and the food was exceptional!
❤
Concise, but clear. We'll take it! 😀
Your videos are always a treat! These biscuits look amazing. Oh, and if you're ever in Philly - let me know!
Thanks a lot! When we make it back to Philly, we'll contact you. Then we can start a "Biscuits and Philly Cheesesteaks" tour. Who's in? 😉
@@steveandyoung Let's do it! I have a long list of cheesesteak places to try, and could use some help LOL
@@ikiddyounot Make sure to check out Angelo's. That was our favorite, though I do also like Jim's Steaks, and John's Roast Pork had good cheesesteaks as well as an amazing Roast Pork sandwich.
Im New here! 😊 Really enjoying watching your videos.
Ah, a newbie! Welcome aboard the crazy train! Buckle up, it’s going to be a fun ride!
Cute video, would love to go there some day!
You definitely should! It was so authentic and fun, I expected to see Davy Crockett walk in in his coonskin cap! 😀
I fell victim to the astro turf placed in the men's urinal. I am now unable to flush a urinal without running away. Too bad the place burned to the ground.
Well, you could always plant plastic trees in there to keep it company! 😉
@@steveandyoung Unnecessary due to the place burning to the ground
my wife and I enjoyed the baby dutch there too. i also post some delicious places in California. Let me know what you think if you happen to stop by any of them... Bon Appetit!
Baby dutch? Sounds like a fun little pancake party! I’m starting to think we need to start a search party for all these delicious places in South County!
Soriano is always better, you nailed it!
Absolutely! If Soriano had a fan club, we’d be the president and vid-president-right after we finished this video!
Very impressive music video 😮❤😊
Thank you. It was very heartfelt.

@@vetchalaxmi5674 Never rely on Google Translate. The lyrics are: [Verse] I look around and remember the slowly dying restaurant embers the times we had among the streets the folks we love, the food we eat [Verse] Seoul is thriving, a bustling city some of it nice, some of it gritty but the memories that we made here are not memories that will stay here [Bridge] I pack my bags to go get on the train from Seoul I’ll soon be in the air but my love will remain there [Chorus] Leaving Seoul late in the day Soon I will be far away but I’ll take my memories with me for I will be back someday [Instrumental] [Verse] The faces of the children here their eyes so hopeful, without fear they give me hope for times to come for love and life, a beautiful outcome [Verse] When I return I’ll see them again and until then I think I’ll send my tender care, their hopes and dreams that the world is better than it seems [Bridge] I pack my bags to go get on the train from Seoul I’ll soon be in the air but my love will remain there [Chorus] Leaving Seoul late in the day Soon I will be far away but I’ll take my memories with me for I will be back someday
Well my daughter name😊
It's a beautiful name.
That my name
Ah, so you’re the one who’s been stealing all the good names! 😄
THAT porchetta sandwich at Oxbow is a privilege to eat. I always ask that they add extra chunks of the crispy skin! Anette's milk chocolate pecan turtles (they call them flips) have had me in a choke hold for 15 years. I always purchase 10 at a time. I live an hour away and I've also had them shipped to me. Bistro Jeanty is my favorite Napa Valley restaurant. The Mustards Grill pork chop is unavoidable ~ sometimes you just have to have it! Surprisingly, my favorite meal in Napa/Sonoma was at Brix on a cold November night. I had a sumptuous lobster pot pie paired with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc that features grapefruit notes. A great food memory! Now...back to watching your videos! Cheers!
You certainly have good taste in food! A porchetta sandwich with extra crispy skin? Talk about living the high life! And 10 turtles at a time? You must have a secret stash that rivals Fort Knox!
Nice to see your video. Im from Logroño. curious fact: Do you know that the man of la Casa de los Quesos was a profesional football player in La Liga? His name is Tato Abadia, he was the captain of the team, there you can see: th-cam.com/video/45QYj_JhFUI/w-d-xo.html
We did not know that. So, is he more famous for his cheese or his goals? Either way, I’d say he’s scoring points in both fields!
엘비스가 좋아하는 바비큐라고? 😮
Elvis had a taste for great food, and this barbecue was definitely one of his favorites! He loved a good meal just like the rest of us.
😮😂😊
😀
Excellent review thank you. However l am vegetarian, would l still like this place?
They have a few vegetarian entrees, such as vegetarian nachos and meatless red beans & rice. But we did not try their vegetarian entrees.
We have eaten here many times unfortunately they closed. Hopefully chef will open another fantastic culinary experience
Well, that sucks. Equally good quality, high-end Mexican is Valle in Oceanside.
@ thank you we will dine here soon
How does this place compare to Heritage BBQ across the street??!
We personally like Heritage much better for the quality of the food. But Bad to the Bone does not run out of food mid-day like Heritage, it's got live entertainment on weekend evenings, and it's very popular with the local equestrian crowd, so usually well-attended, but never a problem getting a seat.
@@steveandyoung I guess it is the cost of living here in SoCal that is driving everything through the roof. You pay a lot more and you get a whole lot less. I've been to TX and many of the southern states that are known for BBQs and have experienced what good BBQ is like. It's been a few years since I was at Bad to the Bone but it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Today, I was at Heritage and after all the fanfare, the food was good but not necessarily commensurate with the prices. The bill today for lunch for two came to $140.00. Granted, we had plenty left over to take home. What I was disappointed with was everything was priced individually and there were nothing that you could just order and call it a meal! Considering the prices were very high, that may be a deterrent for many to return no matter how great the smoked meats are! The current prices are what I'd call outrageous. If the prices were cut 50%, I'd say it would be worth going back. But at this rate, $10.00 for a sauced up taco, or $7.00 for one cornbread or $10.00 banana bread pudding, I'd say it is pretty outrageous. The food was good but not the best I've had.
@@LWRC We agree. Heritage is very good, but much more expensive than you would expect for the food. Equally good quality, and reasonably priced, is Coop's, in Lemon Grove, but it's a long drive from OC. It's just hard to find actually good barbecue in SoCal. Mr. Jim's in South Central LA used to be great, but you used to take your life in your hands when going there (it was very popular with the gangs), and they're now closed, with nothing of similar quality replacing them.
@@steveandyoung Yeah - things are out of hand here in Kalifornia. I read the first review on Google maps for Coops and they ordered ox tail over rice with two sides and that was $50.00 for one person! I guess it must be the cost of the expensive wood they're all using to smoke these meats! I've tried going to LA even into the Valley but still couldn't find anything worthwhile! I think Heritage counts on tourists and folks who may live within 100mi radius for their business as repeat business may be tough given the cost! I spoke with folks ahead and behind me in line that day and none have been there before and was their first time just like me. I think if they cut their prices by at least 50%, it may be worthwhile going back! The meats were mostly body temperature, meaning they were not hot at all when served!
Y
Y not? 😉
Oh my goodness! This is such a wonderful video! Everything looks delicious. Aloha 🌺
Aloha, Jennifer! If only we could send you a plate through the screen-I'd be the ultimate food delivery service! We love good southern food, BTW.
@ that would definitely be cool!
I just subscribed because of your wife 😊
I'll remember to thank her! 😉
Just FYI, this is not the wine that won in Judgement of paris. This is stags leap. The won that won was stags leap wine cellars.
So, it’s Stags’ Leap vs. Stags Leap Wine Cellars-sounds like a classic case of “who wore it better” in the wine world!
Good job Young!
Thanks! She's just trying to keep her "young" spirit alive-like a fine wine (or coffee) that refuses to age!
Reading... as in Reading, Berkshire in the UK - Hence the pronunciation
It's like the town wanted to keep us on our toes with that pronunciation-who knew reading could be so confusing?
❤😂😊😮
😀
너무 멎져요
A caffeine-fueled journey!
Country fried steak is not chicken. It's usually round beef with brown gravy. "Chicken fried steak" is served with white gravy. Fried green tomatoes in honey and pimento cheese, crackers on fried chicken, you make my ancestors cry! That food looked horrible. Don't go there! Knoxville is a lousy culinary destination. Go to Birmingham or Bufford Highway in Atlanta.
OMG, thank you for sharing! I've been eyeing Katz's pastrami due to its reputation :) I'm so happy that the park is still on the meat and even happier that they ship to Canada!! Thank you for showing us how to prepare the packaged meat!
No problem! Just remember, with great pastrami comes great responsibility-responsibility to share it with friends (or not, your call)!
what time of year is the party?
They usually have an Insignia Release party in May, and another one in November. Members are usually notified a few months earlier and given the opportunity to go on one of three different weekends.
Spectacular video, thank you friend
Spectacular? I might have to add that to my resume! “Professional Spectacular Video Creator” has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? 😀
Wow! I think I would have liked the Fried Green Tomatoes/Pimento Cheese without the hot honey. But both entrees looked great.
Hot honey is like that friend who always shows up uninvited-sometimes you love it, but other times you wonder what they were thinking!😉
Everything looked super yummy! I would have been disappointed expecting steak and getting chicken breast too. Love pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes but you forgot the okra!
I don't always love Okra in Southern restaurants. Sometimes, it's a little too slimy. But the best Okra I ever had was in a Pakistani restaurant in London, "New Tayyabs." Amazing restaurant, and the Okra was crispy on the outside and tender inside, perfectly spiced, and just delicious!
@@steveandyoung Lately I've been cutting the tops off and slicing in half lengthwise toss in olive oil sprinkle with creole seasoning and roast in oven. My husband and I can be okra pigs when it comes to this preparation, of course fried is alway good. The Pakistani way sounds wonderful!
Our daughter lives in Oahu (husband in the navy) so I really enjoy Oahu content since I'm there often!
Sounds like you have a built-in tour guide to Oahu! Just remember, it's okay to be a bit jealous of your daughter’s beach days!
Sounds like your having a good time!
We had such a blast in Nashville! And soon, back to Oahu!
