Why can’t we see both of them on the same screen ? Very strange indeed ?.???
Why can’t we saw both person 9n the same screen ?. Odd !!!
Very odd and that dog can be in, but not the other person !!!!
They are both retired . Sure life goes on new chapters. No need to keep hanging around each other,
This is the best interview with Tessa that I have seen! Thank you!
Wow, wanted to catch up on Hamilton/Toronto Levy clan. Lani, you are still a beauty as funny as always. Loved hearing more history about Dad and The Family! Thanks and I’ll keep watching ❤️
Two very intelligent women.Thank you
Unspeakable, barbaric, horrific. As an ally, I struggle to know what to do. Thank you for this.
Thank you for speaking up.
A beautiful dog. The breed?. He or she is large.😮 Aloha! Oahu, Hawaii USA 🇱🇷 0ct 7, 2023
I’m pretty sure the dog is a labradoodle, and a very big one. Beautiful and so calm. Tessa and Scott’s skating is, was, some of the most magical ever. I will never tire of watching the videos. ❤❤❤

Achieving excellence instead of perfection. What a powerful mind tool, I will keep it in mind 💯
Love these two!!!
This is such a cozy, intimate, fun, and interesting podcast! It feels like a book club sesh with a group of besties who just all happen to be extremely accomplished, multi-talented, comedic, insightful, fashionable, warmhearted, scholarly, relatable, and refreshingly candid and open. Congrats Ani + Wren! Lots of love (Jenna)
Great podcast.
What was the leg injury? Did she have to skate in a lot of pain? Is it fully recovered now?
She had an "over use" type of injury that caused her a tremendous amount of pain. She had to have two operations and almost had a third. She would be able to skate for only about 30 seconds at a time when it was flaring up. She said just a year or two ago that unfortunately it didn't all entirely go away as she had hoped once they retired. She still has pain sometimes even though she doesn't really skate anymore.
What a price to pay. So sorry to hear that.@@wilhelmina8843
It's called Chronic Compartment Syndrome -- and the medical community doesn't fully understand this well. Her experience of multiple surgeries and not fully resolving the pain, is quite common. It was/ (is still) thought to be an issue of tight fascial compartments and the typical surgery involved opening up the fascia. However, new research is indicating that this condition really has nothing to do with "fascia" but is moreso a venous compression -- basically the popliteal veins get compressed when the leg muscles are active/engaged. The blood flows to lower legs through the arterial system -- but then the blood can't escape because the veins are compressed -- thus the pressure builds and its intense pressure. It feels like your legs want to explode! I had 3 surgeries for this and have kept up on the medical literature over the years, bc I, too, never got over it.
@@cj_3565 oh wow, can't believe she's had to press forward through all this, you too. Prayers for full answers and recovery.
I love that 24hr spa !! Lol
Great video guys!
ha! her child is sitting right beside her,,LOL! (THE DOG, HER FUR BABY)
Very interesting conversation, thank you! Especially about parenting and children in a competitive sports, it's a delicate matters. Agree with chasing passion is a privilege, a 180 turn in career is a privilege too.
Tessa continues to inspire!
Ice Dancing is not interesting anymore for me after you (Tessa and Scott) retired. I will just have to watch your old videos on youtuibe of all your performances:)
What about Tessa going to public schools & be an encouragement to young people who have a desire to be in sports, and even those already involved.
Scott & Tessa were so amazing to watch that I have no desire to watch Ice dance skating anymore.
Happened to me; they introduced me into it, and got me out of it too... 🤷🏽♀️
Mee too and I discovered the only 2 years ago when they already retired. I love very much ice dance and skating since I was very very young. ( Protopopov, Buch/Buch, Rodnina/Zaitcev, Katarina Witt, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano and so on) I saw them not on italian tv , but on some others european tv. Here in Italy, even if we had some good champions the italian TV never covered as due ice dance. So I have lost so much.
Hope you can live your ice dance dreams
@@true6766 Thank you . Oh yes now when I watch on yutube Scott and Tessa I still can dream.
❤
When this was shot who made the decision to do individual shots of each of the two of them? The both could easily have been in the same shot there's lots of room. Meanwhile look up rule of thirds, fill the frame and other elementary compositional rules.
Yes, something is lost when we don’t see the other person in the conversation. Conversation involved these two women and it happens between the speaker and the listener. Poor shots. What a pity!
I'm in love 😂 I'm a YOUNG 68 🤔😃
love this! don’t love the woody allen coffee table book:/
Lmao
As a mature woman who chased her passion; I’m still learning resilience, and how to achieve excellence because perfection is impossible. Tessa you’re younger by far and have achieved so much more - thanks for sharing your hard-found wisdom with us!
Oh my goodness. First of all Thank you for doing this beautiful interview with Tessa. Ryan your Mom Brenda, feels exactly as I do. And My Name Is Brenda!!! How funny. Being a Competitive Skater and Now a Ballroom Dancer. I can truly say I have so many similarities as you Tessa. As a kid I was a single skater, and now I'm a National Ballroom Competitor and relate to what you said 100% about being accountable and protecting my partnership with everything I have. Sending You Lots of Love.😊💝
Loved the interview! It sounds like the real deal: life, north fairy tales.
We love you Tess!
This was wonderful! Thank you! Tessa is always such an inspiration! 😊
She is so smart and articulate
great conversation there. and OMG Morgan and Tessa are engaged? That's the best news!
Where does she say that?
@@nvadqs She doesn't, but she is wearing a beautiful "sparkler" on her left ring finger
@@barbaramsnyder8659 Ahh ok thanks
yeah, they've been engaged for a couple of months i think
🔥
Loved the podcast! And I’m always looking at that woody Allen book in the back! Love him so much.. I was 8 years old watching his movies with my parents lol
24:00 the person working as an uber eats driver knows ahead of pickup what the order is and they can accept or not accept... What I dont like is when a person is on a bike and its now going to get there much slower... which then makes the food cold, and drinks watery.
That would be Ani’s sister in law, not Wren’s. “In law” neither of their parents are in laws to each other
You’re right it would be her brother in laws wife. She’s not in laws with them both
🎉🎉
I love Dr. Toni she is incredible
How come there was no video with you guys, and Ali? That would have been nice to see you all together.. btw, love your dog!!! so cute how he jumped up to be with u guys on the couch to snuggle
